Our presenters are the co-creators of the beautiful cookbook, "The Great Gift of Ghee" with 40+ seasonal vegetarian recipes - all made with ghee. They'll share methods of making ghee at home, tips and tricks of using ghee in Indian and non-Indian recipes and more. A live or recorded demo of the traditional "ghee tadka" technique is also on the cards... Author, Chitra Martin, moved to Los Angeles in 2008 and now manages a real estate business. At the same time, she pursues a lifelong interest in art and is a school-group Docent at the Getty Center. She has an abiding passion for Indian aesthetics, culture and cuisine. Art Director, Susanne Jarchow-Misch, started making ghee at home many years ago and now regularly travels to India and enjoys experimenting with Indian cuisine. As a student of Ayurveda, she would like to share her learnings around inherent and potential benefits of Ghee with the cookbook.
