Back at one of our favorite haunts, taking advantage of the glorious weather in Chicago. They never disappoint with their beer list. Today we had Helles Lager by and Kilobeer by . Both great and perfect for unwinding after a workday. Come here or go to your favorite local bar, sit outside and have a local craft beer. It’s the move on a day that Chicagoans suffer through winters for!

The first time we walked through the doors of , we were warmly welcomed and we have been big fans ever since. We love chicken wings and asked the server for a recommendation for which sauce to try. She recommended the Carolina Gold wings and we make the bold statement that these rank amongst the best wings we have ever had! We order them probably 90% of the time we visit. Truthfully, you can’t go wrong with ordering anything. This is not typical bar food. It is elevated but not fussy. Their tap list is great, complete with Hamm’s always on tap which just adds to the warmth of this place. The service is always beyond friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Go say “hi” to the fine folks at The Wolcott Tap, have a cold drink and order up some absolutely delicious food!

Between city restrictions, wonky hours, chilly temperatures, and temporarily suspending our brunch menu, we decided to press pause on our Frozen Coffee Cocktail for a few months. But the people have spoken, and the [self-proclaimed] Best in the Midwest is BACK! Be careful, though, because these things are dangerously tasty. Swing by this weekend to get your fix!

We've got some new dishes to share with you! These items are only going to be available Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, so you should definitely add these to your weekend plans.

- Fish & Chips - beer-battered cod served with coleslaw, tartar sauce, lemon, and our famous sidewinder fries.
- Fish Tacos - 3 tacos on corn tortillas, your choice of Crispy of Tropical. The Crispy Fish Tacos are panko-crusted tilapia with chipotle mayo, lettuce, pico de gallo, and crème fraiche. The Tropical Fish Tacos feature blackened tilapia, lettuce, and a house-made mango salsa.
