We have reached a new milestone.

Our founder likely never thought their legacy would have been part of the evolution of technology, multiple Presidents, generations of families, cures of illnesses, creation of vaccines, and so much more.

As humans we are tribal creatures. We are destined to thrive in social gatherings.

104 years of Vito and Nick’s is certainly an amazing example of that.

Our tribe consists of teachers, architects, tradesman, doctors, sportsman, farmers, salesmen, police officers, firefighters, paramedics, writers, chefs - people of all races and ethnicities.

People who have a common connection and that is to our community of Pizza lovers - our special and unique type of style, our traditions at the very core of our little place on Pulaski that has stood the test of time.

We are grateful for all those first bites, those first steps, and repeat steps you have taken just to visit us in a world where pizza is common.

We know our competition does it better in some ways. That’s okay. America is a place where we should compete. It makes us better off and we certainly should never give up the spirit of being an entrepreneur. We can’t succeed and fail unless we put the work into something that means something or creates change.

What an idea it was 104 years ago.

We wanted to share our gratitude early and say thank you to all our generations of Mothers that we have had the pleasure to meet. There’s an unwritten language between a Mother and a child. A simple look can mean your the most special person in the world or it can say, just wait until your Father comes home. The simple truth is all Mother’s start off knowing that she will protect her child at all costs. A good Mother will always make mistakes. A better Mother will always say sorry and look forward to making the next day a little better. A great Mother will be a Mother to anyone who needs one in a time if need. Happy Mother’s Day - the journey and the blessing is never over. 💐

It is with deep sadness we learned of the passing of Brian, Nicholas Barraco’s grandson. We pay respect to Brian and those in the Vito & Nicks family and his entire family. Please pray for peace and comfort.

Crime statistics will be shared, and those in attendance will have an opportunity to speak directly with Chicago Lawn (8th) District Police.
Beat 812 meetings are typically attended by members of the Clearing Night Force neighborhood watch group, who welcome new members.

They say a strong foundation is a true beginning to a lasting legacy. Our building on Pulaski is that foundation. Who really knows how many hands have opened those doors. Some good experiences. Some great experiences. Many that have not lived up to expectation. And still, we have prevailed through the ages and decades and wars and Presidents. We have seen babies grow into adults to seniors.
