The Regional Stay at Home Order has been lifted for the Greater Sacramento region. Butte County is in the purple tier, and Barbershops and Hair Salons are allowed to open indoors.

Online Schedule for appointments with David & Claire are now OPEN. Appointments are available as soon as Monday the 18th.

We still have appointments left before Thanksgiving. Whether you have family attending this year or not.. shouldn’t you be better dressed than the turkey?

Our online booking is now open!

We are open every other week until further notice while our children are in distances learning.

We have also raised our prices by $5 for each service. We have not raised prices since opening our barbershop, and have decided to increase to offset some our costs associated with COVID- 19 requirements.

Gov. Newsom announces pro sports, hair salons, churches may reopen in next few weeks

abc7news.com Gov. Gavin Newsom laid out early guidance for much of the state to move into further reopening in the coming weeks, including hair salons and even sporting events.

To our community:

We have been following our Governor’s orders to stay home and any news that might give us an idea of when we can reopen.

As most of you have seen, Barbershops, salons, etc. are in the Phase 3 category; meaning it will be months before we have more concrete information on how to proceed.

Although you may have seen other barbers or stylists in our area opening up, we will remain closed until we have the proper guidance from our State and the State Board of Barbering and Cosmetology.

As Barbers, we are regulated and licensed by the State. State Board has instructed us to follow our Governor’s orders and nothing more. Therefore, we cannot, in good faith, open our doors until we know how to keep ourselves and our community safe.

We would love nothing more than to be standing behind our chairs, seeing all of you, cutting some hair, and sharing some laughs. However, we feel this is the right decision for us and all of you.

We know that your hair is outgrown, and your beards are wild, but this too shall pass. Take this time to grow your hair out and think of some fun new hairstyles for when we can all get back to whatever our new “normal” will be. If you can’t wait and decide to self-trim or have a family member help you, please don’t hesitate to contact us for help. We are here for you and are willing to do whatever we can to make this easier.

Thank you to all of you who have reached out to check on us or offer support. We are eternally grateful for this community, and are always impressed by the resiliency of this county. Be safe and kind to each other.
