Happy Anniversary!! Satori 3.0 opened on the Esplanade one year ago today. With the love and support of my team, the community and my family. I thank all of you who have shopped local! Thank you to all my team members past and present who are a part of the Satori family. Next month I will have been in business in Chico for 19 years! And nobody does that on their own. I’m so excited to announce that once estheticians are allowed to start working indoors again, I’ll be working at my favorite salon in Chico, Satori Color and Hair Design!!! 🎈🍾🎉🎊 We’re going to be at a new, gorgeous location at 11th Ave and Esplanade! Hair services will start up on September 14th and hopefully I’ll start soon thereafter! I’ll be offering the same lash and waxing services but I’ll soon be adding AVEDA FACIALS to my service menu!!!! I’m so excited that I think my brain and heart might explode! 💓❤️💓❤️

Satori has been in the process of moving... with a couple of construction set backs. Salons are re opening but Satori needs two more weeks, with an opening date of Sept 14. But it will be worth the wait. We will have a smaller team but still full of awesomeness. Also adding in for lashes and waxing services to our list. We will still be carrying our beloved BUMBLE, AVEDA, DAVINES. The phone is being transferred... so message us-on Facebook or DM on Instagram in the meantime and we can’t wait to see you soon! Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday July 28-30 from 3-6pm 50% OFF selected Bumble and AVEDA products 🌸🌸💃🏻💃🏻 That’s right, Satori is moving. THE ESPLANADE PROJECT is Almost ready for our new home. We are downsizing to a beautiful spanish style house with ample parking in front and back, lots of windows and a relaxing patio with spacious stations. This will be our new home and 3rd location. Each salon has had its own unique driving factor and this one is about joy. That bigger is not better. Less is more❤️. Please help lighten the load and shop the sale🌈✌️

Dana Brooke has been a salon owner since 2002. Her salon Satori is in Chico, California. I’ve known Dana since grade school and it was really nice to connect more with her during quarantine. We would help each other navigate through resources available for hair dressers and salon owners while trying to keep each other sane in the process! While away from the salon, Dana was able to “get off the hamster wheel” and slow down. Seeing the importance in simplifying her life and business, Dana decided to open up a new location for Satori. It will be a salon with individual rooms to allow her stylists and their clients privacy, while taking extra measures for health safety. This will also give them a sense of ownership for their own businesses.
Dana is looking forward to expanding her creativity with her clients and personalize their experience even more. When we get back to the basics, it’s essential to connect again! I am so proud of her for taking this leap to enhance her business even more!

Just a little silliness, but we are all doing fine. Spending time with our families waiting for the green light .

Hello to our beautiful clients. There has been a lot of chatter about salons opening up and getting back to normal with precautions... But we ARE NOT OPENING YET.
But I believe this is coming soon. The Statewide Shelter in Place Mandate in still in effect. Today I received an email from Assemblyman Gallager and in it it clearly states," that while counties can chose to be more restrictive, they cannot chose to be less restrictive that the sate mandate".
This for me, was my definitive moment in what to do. Taking risks with the health of my Satori family, their families, or yours, would be irresponsible. And not a risk I am willing to take. I want this to be a one and done scenario.
Assemblyman Gallager also has a petition going forth for 5 of the rural north state counties to let us start to re open with guidelines(noting our low Covid-19 numbers). I will be watching this closely so that we can get back to you as soon as possible. Sending Love and support and our fingers are crossed.
