Project Hope Pantry opened its doors on May 2018, to help Feed America, the Needy & the Homeless which serves all Walks of Life throughout Chicopee, Springfield, Holyoke, Agawan, Westfield, West Springfield, Granby, Belchertown, South Hadley, Deerfield and even Connecticut. It's a ministry that has now come to fruition, as it was a vision that Pastor Ryan Walker had in 1997 for Project Hope. In 2005 Project Hope started as an outreach ministry where we do work in other countries such as Jamaica, India, Nepal & Bhutan. One Sunday morning service in 2007, a Word came to Pastor Vonetta Walker that Project Hope was now to be Project H.O.P.E as the acronym would represent; Helping Other People Everyday and so from a Word from God to the lives that ministers and cares for other individuals, birth Project Hope Pantry in which Sister Maria Rivera is the Director, under the umbrella of Project H.O.P.E. The Pantry began serving 78 ppl in May 2018 and now has a list of clients of over 1100 ppl. God has truly blessed this ministry with sponsors such as The Food Bank of WMA which provides the majority of Free Food, Rachel's Table, a Program of Jewish Federation of Western Mass, Lovin Spoonful which Salvage as much Food to avoid Waste, OneDeeds who just came on board from Israel that works through sponsors and much more! We accept monetary, wearable clothing and sealed dated food donations by appointment with the exception of the monetary donations that can be mailed to:
