🤢One of the biggest things I’ve been struggling with lately in my first trimester is All.Day.Nausea. I almost wish I could just throw up so I could feel better!😅🫖A couple things that have been a huge help to me recently are peppermint essential oil & drinking chamomile tea…✨So I decided to combine these two elements into an easy to use & carry with me Nausea Spray!🤍Before I launch this for sale, I’m looking for one pregnant person in their first trimester who is also struggling with nausea to help me test this out & give me your 100% honest feedback! 🍼Paced Bottle Feeding🍼👶We typically don’t want to feed our babies laying on their backs & with the nipple of the bottle completely full of milk. Feeding this way could possibly upset baby’s tummy & cause reflux.🤍Sit baby more upright, supporting their neck & head. Hold the bottle at a more horizontal angle, so the milk is only halfway filling the nipple. This helps slow the milk flow & encourages baby to eat more deliberately, helps prevent over feeding, reduces gas & tummy upset, & hopefully lessens any reflux.✨Give your baby a few second break if they are eating too quickly, milk is spilling out of their mouth, flaring their nostrils & widening eyes, or stiffening arms & legs. Your baby may be full if they are pressing their lips together, letting go of the nipple, turning their head side to side, no longer sucking, or falling asleep.🥛Keep in mind how many oz your baby’s belly is able to hold per feeding, this also helps with less spit up.

🚫You do not have to be unnecessarily induced just because your provider says so…🤰My client: has had an extremely healthy pregnancy, is a first time parent, & isn’t even full term yet.👩‍⚕️Their provider actually said to them “I’m not allowing you to go past 39 weeks, we’ll schedule you for an induction.” With no further explanation.🤰My client: is putting their foot down, saying no, & asking to see a different provider in the practice because she knows it is not medically necessary to be induced. & if the provider does schedule an induction… they simply just won’t show up.🤷‍♀️💌How are appointments going with your provider? Do you feel prepared for labor & birth? Are you ready to advocate for yourself or do you have someone on your team who can help advocate for you? ✨Come Get a Yearly Exam & Pap with Me!✨😬Fun Fact: I had my first pap at the age of 13 because the provider I went to for birth control told me I had to… there are very little (if not 0) reasons to have a pap before the age of 21. I honestly couldn’t remember the last time I had one, maybe in early in pregnancy or soon after I had Daisy, so it was time for one.🌱This time I wanted to make sure I was going with a provider who would make this a better experience for me, so I made an appointment with a Midwife at my local birth center! Yes, midwives can do your yearly exams & paps!🤍The midwife took the time to ask me questions about my health & chat with me before getting started. She explained every single thing the exam would entail, asked before she touched me, let me know that if at any point I wanted to stop we could stop, talked me through every step of what she was doing, & made sure this was a more comfortable experience for me. Which it certainly was! As long as everything looks good I’ll be back next year (hopefully with a sweet little babe) for a regular exam & then another pap in 3 years.💌Have you had your exam this year & is it time for you to have a pap? Drinking enough water helps increase circulation in the body to those organs, as well as help flush toxins out of the body.💦Peak Cervical Fluid is ideally 96% water so being well hydrated is key to peak fertile CM production.🥵Dehydration can lead to stress on the body which can raise cortisol levels & decrease progesterone.🩸Increase water intake in the days leading up to your period & during your bleed, especially if you tend to have a heavier flow since blood loss can lead to dehydration.🚰Try to drink filtered water, not from plastic containers. Tap water can often contain micro pollutants such as pharmaceuticals, lead, micro plastics, & other endocrine disrupters.🌊Have you drank enough water today?
