I don’t know how else to describe it. The mix of stuffing is so damn flavorful, I toss it around my mouth and try to figure out what spices were used! All together in the roast, it is just heavenly! I’m never going back to a tofurkey again! For real! Knowing your roast is out there, I will never eat one again! All the flavors of home and every Thanksgiving I want to attend is how I would describe your roast! It was so juicy, flavorful, and that « yuba » or whatever almost had a noodle like texture that was so great together, and then the mushrooms....day-um! What is yuba? Layer and layers of dried bean curd sheets (aka tofu skins) marinated with a tamari ( spice and brown sugar marinade then filled with shiitake mushrooms, jackfruit, and mirepoix, (carrots, celery, and onions). And then we’ve added some pistachios for some Smokey nutty contrast. Then tressed and steamed for the layers to fuse together. Finally basted with more marinade and roasted until crispy on the outside. Served with a mushroom gravy. And it’s waiting for you to preorder for pick up at in Chino on Thanksgiving morning 10–1pm. Goodbye Blonde, Hello Blue! Out of all the colors I’ve had in all my 45 years, blue was never one I was able to accomplish until now. Unfortunately after years of having blonde hair, it’s really taken a toll and I decided to cut it short and head back to black. But before I go back to black, I wanna go through all the colors I haven’t done or will revisit before I do. Blue was def always was one I knew I had to be super white blonde in order to accomplish. And I love it! I wonder what the next color will be….🤔

WE’RE EXTENDING OUR PREORDER HOURS! Because it has come to my attention that for the past few days there was a problem online trying to checkout of the preorders on the website. So we’re going to allow preorders until tomorrow August 26 by noon. See the link in the bio. So if you haven’t had the opportunity to dive into this dish yet, you still have time. This is the dish that started “Banh in The USA” and HeartCore Eats years ago when we had our first ever pop up dinner. And the consensus was that this Deconstructed Banh Mi was the favorite of all the menu. Served on a baguette crostini , coffee roasted mushroom pate, made from shiitakes and benshimeji mushrooms, some pickled carrot and daikon with Persian cucumbers, serrano aioli, fresh trio of herbs, fresno chilis, and drizzled with a mushroom gastrique. (Reduction with sugar and acid). Bb

Is it a pancake or is it’s crepe?! It’s not a frittata but it’s plant based and gluten free and it’s Vietnamese. Its in between all those things. I like to think of it as a crispy crepe. If you’ve never tried such a dish it’s called Banh Xeo and it’s absolutely delicious. And when done correctly, crispy crispy crispy. It’s also an item on our menu for this Saturday August 27th. A Vietnamese inspired pop up dinner “Banh In the USA”. And we can’t wait to show you what we’ve got up our sleeve.
