Join us for “Caring for Yourself While Caring for Others: A Path to Balance for Parents of Children with Special Needs.”

This FREE event is open to any parent or caregiver of a child aged 0-21 with physical, developmental, or mental health needs in Wisconsin’s 18 Western counties (including Barron, Buffalo, Burnett, Chippewa, Clark, Douglas, Dunn, Eau Claire, Jackson, La Crosse, Monroe, Pepin, Pierce, Polk, Rusk, St. Croix, Trempealeau, and Washburn)

Dates: Choose from November 22 or December 6, 2024
Time: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Location: The Pablo Center, 128 Graham Ave, Eau Claire, WI 54701
Includes: Free meal + onsite childcare/respite care

In this workshop, you’ll:
Learn how to prevent compassion fatigue
Discover simple self-care practices
Create a personal plan to recharge and stay resilient

Many signs of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) go unnoticed in children, and many people never outgrow their ADHD. It is important to recognize these signs early to help children learn strategies to be successful and manage their ADHD.

FREE Speech, Language, and Hearing Screeners for children ages 2-4 years of age!

River Source Family Center is partnering with UW-Eau Claire Grad students in the Communication Department. These students would love to provide free screeners for your little ones (2-4 years of age)!
