Project C.A.R.E. Symposium

The Naval Medical Center San Diego and the C5 Program invites you to attend
the 3rd annual PROJECT C.A.R.E. Symposium.

This year's theme is "Healing the Scars of the Wounded and Traumatically
Injured." The symposium will provide an unsurpassed opportunity to gain
insights into the treatment of traumatic scars from a variety of
perspectives. Healthcare providers and administrators spanning all
disciplines seeking to improve therapy and advance scar research in both the
military and civilian arenas are welcome to attend. Course Directors CDR
Peter Shumaker and CDR Nathan Uebelhoer have invited top luminaries from a
variety of disciplines including Dermatology, Plastic Surgery, Orthopedics,
and Otolaryngology. Support speakers are provided by the generosity of the
Gene Vance Jr. Foundation.

The Symposium will be held 19 - 21 September in San Diego, California at the
Hilton Mission Valley. A maximum of 24 CME credits will be awarded to
attendees.

One of the things that I inherited from Nana is my passion to cook for people. Whatever the reason it always brings a smile to someone's face. That expression of grattitude not only makes me feel happy but we're also making a memory at the same time. And that's what its all about.. This is one of the reasons we created this cookbook. With that being said, summertime is almost here. Perfect time for family cookouts, getherings and fiestas.. This book is filled with so many family recipes from all cultures and would be perfect for any occassion. $20 and all proceeds go to Nana's Wish for at-risk kids and caretakers of the elderly..
