No family is perfect, but I’m so grateful for my dysfunctional, imperfect, crazy little family! We’ve been up and we’ve been down, we’ve been through divorce and got remarried, we’ve been broken, we’ve been through so much and yet God keeps up in the palm of his hand. Even while we currently go through health issues, financial issues, and anything else that gets thrown at us we still stand on God’s promises. My Rosa is so strong and such a warrior and inspiration to me. My kids are all amazing and each have their special places in my heart. In 2005 I connected with a young artist named Karl Miller Espinosa known as and encouraged him about his craft. Today I received this message from him, it made my day.

He was an inspiring artist looking to collab with our Jefe Clothing line and now his art is seen all over the world!

Sometimes we don’t realize the impact we have, we don’t see how the trees have blossomed after you plant the seed, you just hope that your efforts weren’t in vain. I was so encouraged to get this as well as a few other messages from him. I realized that sometimes people DO listen! Your voice and your words do make a difference. I want to encourage everyone out there to keep using your influence to make a positive impact even when you feel that it’s not making a difference, don’t give up. Keep doing what God has called you to do and who He has called you to be.
