Inspection Day Buying a house can be scary. We always recommend getting a home inspection to help eliminate some of the unknown fears and give you peace of mind about your purchase. Here are the 5 top things you want to check at your home inspection: ➕The Roof - Check for the age and proper installation. ➕The Sewer Line - You want to make sure that there are no issues with the drainage, cracks, breaks, or intrusions. ➕Heater and A/C Units - Make sure these are working properly and check the age. They usually last 15-20 years. ➕Foundation - Make sure there is no cracking in the floor, walls, and door frames. ➕Electrical Panel - Make sure your panel is updated to capacity for your home and appliances. ➕➕ Bonus Check for Drainage - Make sure water is draining away from your home and foundation.
