Honestly I didn’t know what to expect going on a flight to the other side of the world for my baby sister’s wedding, but I knew I never would have missed it. I always want to be remembered as the dad/husband/brother who takes opportunities and never makes excuses, so we took the 16 hour flight with 2 kids.

What a beautiful trip it was. Seeing my whole family together, thriving, and growing makes me happy. Being able to show my girls the world excites me. And seeing my sister happy marrying calms me.

As the oldest brother to 5 sisters, seeing them happy has always been something that worries me. Seeing them all blossom to the beautiful, strong, intelligent, and independent women they are gives me so much excitement looking forward to my own girls.

I love that this trip made us closer. Getting to share the memories with my family is something that will forever be irreplaceable. Dubai opened my eyes to new opportunities and more growth. It’s crazy how much there is to see and do in such little time. CÉ LA VI

Those who know me or have been following me for sometime know my Mom passed away when I was a senior in high school.

Today is 20 years of her passing. What better way to celebrate than to throw a giant Easter Egg Hunt. Growing up my mom would have the best egg hunts for us with eggs filled with $$$.

It’s crazy how life works and how fast it can be taken away. I cherish everything my mom ever taught me and the memories I have of her but most importantly the love, independence, and drive she installed in me.

I’m a true believer that everything happens for a reason and you end up where you are supposed to be in life. While I’d love to have my Mom here I know losing her helped make me the man, husband, father, brother, and friend I am today.

Put in the effort and you will be rewarded. Add passion to that effort and your dreams will come true.

Take this as a reminder to call your mom and tell her you love her but also to wake up and take advantage of the life you have. Take action to go after your biggest goals and dreams because tomorrow isn’t promised and what will you leave behind?
