Last Friday, we had the privilege to give the students of Chicago Builds a special tour of the Humboldt Park Health Wellness Center. The day kicked off with words from the hospital’s president and CEO, Jose Sanchez, alongside Alderperson Jesse Fuentes. Afterwards, we led the students on a walkthrough of the construction site, offering them an up-close look at the exciting progress of the Humboldt Park Heath Wellness Center.

Last week we had the opportunity to share our Back of the Yards: Rooted and Rising project with the Pritzker-Traubert Foundation’s Chicago Prize team and a broader audience.

This project, located at 4630 S. Ashland Ave, lives in the heart of the Invest South/West corridor helping to emphasize the City of Chicago Department of Planning & Development's efforts to revitalize the Back of the Yards neighborhood. The project was intentionally designed to serve as a catalyst for community investment and development through the implementation of affordable housing and commercial programming not only for the residents but also the surrounding communities.

Our exceptional team is comprised of organizations and firms led/owned by people of color and/or certified as a Minority-Owned Business, representing the diversity and culture of the community.

We are grateful for the entire team and are proud of all the hard work that has gone into this project over the past several months.
