Did you know paint is bad for bricks? If you wish to change the appearance of your bricks without causing long-term damage, we can stain the bricks or lime wash them!

Lime washing is an historical method of altering the appearance of bricks and stone without causing any damage to them. You can choose how transparent or opaque the finished product is by using more coats of lime to the masonry.

We just completed tuck pointing these chimneys in Hyde Park and the homeowner wanted to update the look in an historically-appropriate method. We offered to lime wash them. We are excited about the way they turned out and the homeowner loves the outcome! The black flues really make it pop!

We laid a block foundation this week. The previous foundation was improperly built and crumbled into the basement.

We shored up the house, tore out the old foundation, dug out the dirt, and properly laid up a new, reinforced foundation with rebar and grout-filled concrete blocks.

Thankful for having extra scaffold when the metal roof on our historic house started leaking! The little man loves climbing up to “work” with daddy.

This historic home had built in brick window boxes crumbling off the front of the house and leaking window lintels needing replaced. Brandon completely demolished the existing structures, replaced the lintels, and rebuilt the window boxes to match what was there previously.

After a homeowner had an unfortunate meeting between his car and his garage, Bran got it fixed all up better than new!!
