We are thrilled to announce our newest homeowner in Dayton, Ohio! 🏡🔑

A huge shoutout to John Clark with EXP Realty for connecting us with the buyer in the first place. John played a crucial role in helping the buyer secure a home and get under contract. 🤝

However, as the real estate journey proceeded, there was a bump in the road during the inspection process, and we had to make the tough decision to end the deal a week before closing. 😔 But here's where the story takes a turn for the better!

Allow me to re-introduce myself. I have a lot of new friends and a lot of old friends on FB.

I operate my own Mortgage Brokerage. I have been in the lending industry for almost 20 years and have been a part of over two-thousand mortgage transactions.

I grew up in a single parent household and didn't live in a house until I bought my own. My mom didn't live in a house until I was able to buy the home she lives in today. I approach this business differently because of where I came from.

3 things you should be doing before even meeting with a lender:

✅ Create a house hold budget: Figure out your monthly expenses + how much is left over. See if there is anything you can cut out or debt you can eliminate to increase your borrowing capacity.

✅ Check your credit score: Equifax, Experian, & Transunion offer one free credit report a year.

✅ Create a savings plan: The goal should be to put away 3%-5% of the anticipated home costs for a down payment.
