"I would give the guys at Atlantis more than 5 stars if I could. I have a Viking 45 that has been over propped since I bought it (surveyor said it would be fine to run as it was but should eventually get them reworked). Didn’t realize how many issues that was causing with high temps and poor performance (older boat so I just figured it was what it was).

After my Detroit mechanic told me my issues were prop related I contacted Atlantis (they were very patient with me as I can be annoying). Sent off my props and they got them back to me quickly. She’s a whole new boat. Didn’t lose anything significant at cruise and gained 5+ knots and 300rpm at the top end (as well as running 10-20*f cooler). All the vibration at speed and black smoke on acceleration that I had just gotten used to is all gone, she has never run this good.

The props were massively over pitched (and the blades were poorly matched despite being “reconditioned” by another shop). They weren’t sure if they could take enough out to make it work (and were very honest about this up front) but they worked miracles over there. Could not be happier with my experience with Atlantis. If you need work done they are the people to use. Gonna have to send my spare props over next to get them matched to the current props."
