On Friday evening, August 16, 2024, at approximately 8pm, police units were dispatched to the AT&T Store, located at 1253 S Route 130 for a report of a robbery in progress. When units arrived, a getaway car in the parking lot took off out of the parking lot at a high rate of speed. At the same time, a second suspect was coming out of the store. Officer Josh Lillagore confronted the subject, who then ran away. Officer Lillagore chased the subject on foot, but lost sight of the subject as he hid somewhere in the Sweetwater Condominium complex. Officer Lillagore then set up a perimeter. Once the perimeter was set up, P/O Harry Cicale and his K-9 partner Bane initiated a track for the suspect. After a short time, Bane located the suspect hiding under a bush in the Sweetwater complex. Officers Robert Young and Kai Leibfried were able to take the suspect into custody without further incident.

The suspect, who was from Philadelphia, is believed to be part of a criminal group who have been involved in approximately 33 other robberies between Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. The subject was charged with the following crimes: -2nd degree Robbery, -3rd degree Conspiracy, -3rd degree Criminal Attempt, and -3rd degree Resisting by Flight, -4th degree Obstruction, and -4th degree Tampering with Evidence. The suspect was remanded to the Burlington County Jail.

The Cinnaminson Police Department would like to thank the following agencies for their help with this incident: Maple Shade Police Department, Riverton Police Department, Palmyra Police Department, and the United States Bureau of Alcohol, To***co, Fi****ms, and Explosives (ATF).
