On Wednesday, December 9th, Shangrila Rendon will be our special guest at the Smoke Pit beginning at 6pm. During the evening, Shangrila will sit down for an open discussion about her life. Just having completed her second Guinness World Record (the most 140.6-mile triathlons in 34 days), Shangrila will give a firsthand account of how she transformed herself from a horrible past which included sexual abuse, sexual assault, suicidal tendencies, PTSD, depression, alcohol addiction, and an eating disorder to become a Guinness World Record holder, triathlon coach, pro-athlete, inspirational speaker, life coach, and bestselling author.
Whether you’re dealing with a traumatic experience yourself, have been diagnosed with PTSD, are an athlete, or want to get the opportunity to hear how this amazing woman has overcome so much, this is a conversation you do not want to miss.
Dinner will be served from 7pm-8pm.
Activities will be offered for children during the speaking engagement.
