Please welcome our newest club to District 5300. Today was their Charter Party. Gino Reyes is the Charter President of the Verde Vegas club located in North Las Vegas.
Our Rotary Club is proud to be a sponsor supporting Crossroads' incredible mission. Crossroads assists women recently released from incarceration, boasting a 90% success rate in helping them avoid returning to prison and successfully reintegrate into the community. We achieve this through the generous support of our community and the funds raised from our annual Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving morning. Thank you for making a difference!

Oh and we have some great coffee from sanctuary and pastries from crème.
🌟 Join us in celebrating one of our newest Rotarians Cynthia! During her induction last month, we learned that she's been a Rotarian at heart for many years. Just a few weeks ago, she asked if we could support a worthwhile cause at Alcott Elementary. We're thrilled to share the impact of our donations. Check out the heartwarming video and see the difference we're making together! 🙌
Today, we were inspired by the students of Claremont HS who shared their insights from the impactful 'Every 15 Minutes' program they created, focusing on fentanyl and DUI deaths. We are grateful for their educational perspectives and the opportunity to support their movie. This empowering program is offered every 2 years at CHS, and we are proud to have sponsored their shirts with a design created by a talented CHS student.

What an incredible meeting we had today! We kicked things off with a generous donation and were honored to have Pete from https://peterselloco.com join us.
A highlight of the day was welcoming our newest member, Cynthia Cano Ng, to Rotary. While Cynthia's day job is in real estate, her involvement extends far beyond. As highlighted by members Josh and Cindy during her induction, Cynthia has been a dedicated Rotarian for many years, and today, she officially joined our Rotary family.
But the excitement didn't stop there! We were treated to an inspiring Craft Talk by our newer member, Cooper. He shared his journey to Claremont and his current role organizing marathons and sponsored running events. Truly impressive!
Of course, what's a meeting without a bit of fun? Retired Judge Roger walked away with $448 in our opportunity drawing. We can't wait to see what our Sergeant has in store for us next week!
Additionally, we received funds from member Steve's high school son, Nicholas, who collects recyclables for school and generously donates the proceeds to our Lion's Den project.
Join us next week for what promises to be another fantastic meeting! 🌟
Looking forward to this week’s meeting where our club President Gabe attended as a facilitator too. RYLA students that we paid to attend will be sharing with us their experience. Come join us for a great meeting presented by RYLA students.

Project Boon is a regional 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2011 that aims to combat food insecurity and provide volunteer opportunities in our community. The owners of Firm Media Inc and CASKS Restaurant Group founded the organization intending to leverage the local business community to make a positive impact.
Memorial Day is a federal holiday in the United States reserved as a day of remembrance for those American Service Members who gave the ultimate sacrifice and died in service to our country. CSR provided a bouquet to remember their ultimate sacrifice. Thank you friends of Oak Park and City of Claremont for making today happen. Thank you Jed for walking them up during todays event.
