2023 was an eventful year.

My very first Women’s Event “Cocktails with Christie: A Woman’s Event”, was so rewarding. Having my wonderful friends and fellow women entrepreneurs speak on stage and share their knowledge of various businesses was truly a highlight of my year. Can’t wait to see what our 2nd year brings.

Business was blessed with closing homes for so many wonderful families. Not to mention helping other families obtain life insurance to protect their family in the future, along with adding investments to my resume.

Only growing more in order to help others grow in their financial future.

Coffee with Christie podcast landed in YouTube and wow did we have some amazing guests. Plan on continuing having conversations with so many more people, sharing their stories that may help you with your life journey.

The sudden loss of my mom took us by surprise and made us all reflect. But most importantly cherish family. I absolutely love my family and am blessed with such wonderful souls in my life. God blessed me abundantly in this category and I can’t thank Him enough.

2024 is going to be full of goal achieving experiences and I can’t wait to get started. In fact tomorrow is Day 1!

What do you plan to achieve in 2024? Don’t let life pass you by. It happens quickly. It’s a wild ride and oh so worth it. But you have to get on in order to enjoy it.

I think we’ve gotten so accustomed to the kamode being in a separate room, closed off for privacy from the rest of the bathroom, that when we come across everything in one room, it throws us off.

But if you recall growing up, or homes before the 1990’s, that was the common layout of a bathroom.

Ah! The evolution of home design.

You have to jump. It’s scary as heck but the landing is so rewarding.

Our next guest speaker for “Cocktails with Christie” is the wonderful Melony Lorenzana .

· Melony grew up in Ontario and now lives in Chino Hills with her husband James of nearly 20 years and 3 very active kids: Keira, Zoey and Mason.
· Melony graduated from University of LaVerne with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. She worked for a large commercial insurance broker where she was an Assistant Vice President and decided to leave her career to raise her kids.
· While her kids were very young, she ran a very successful home based business until starting her publishing business in March of 2019
· Melony is the publisher of 3 community publications. Two in Chino Hills, one a sports magazine highlighting athletes called Chino Hills Sports and the other Neighbors of West Chino Hills featuring families from the community. The third, Neighbors of North Upland in North Upland. She is also the Market Manager for the Inland Empire region helping to grow the area and lead other publishers.
· Melony is an Ambassador with the Chino Valley Chamber of Commerce, Secretary on the PTO Board for Wickman Elementary, Fundraising Chair for Townsend Junior High School, a member of the Upland Chamber of Commerce and a member of TEAM Referral Network.
· Melony loves helping small businesses grow and bringing the community together.

Can I just share how excited I am to have this woman, one of my wonderful close friends, Stacey Jordan speak at “Cocktails with Christie” event. She is one of my most cherished friends. Not only is she an amazing artist with her own art shows but she is also an IMS Senior Trial Consultant.

Stacey has been helping litigators hone case themes and relay those themes through powerful visual imagery. Although it seems counterintuitive, the process of turning complex concepts into simple visual stories requires intense mental concentration. She dedicates tremendous energy toward this task because she knows when jurors understand fundamental concepts, they are more likely to side with her clients.

Before entering the litigation arena, Stacey was an award-winning infographics artist for the Orange County Register, a Pulitzer Prize-winning newspaper. Her infographics covered the current events of the Orange County area of Southern California with visual stories that included investigative reports and breaking news.

Stacey received a BFA from California State Polytechnic University–Pomona. She is a licensed California real estate broker.

Outside of work, she devotes time creating mixed media artwork that addresses the social issues of our time.

The knowledge this woman has is phenomenal and I can’t wait for you to meet her.

Honored to introduce our next guest speaker for “Cocktails with Christie”, Mrs. Manal Massoud of Primerica.

Manal was born in Lebanon in 1984, got married at age 18 and became a mom at the age of 19. She enjoyed every bit of being a staying home mom but always knew that she had so much more to give, and wanted to have more impact & significance without jeopardizing quality time with her two beautiful kids.

Alongside her husband Tony, in 2009 she joined a financial services firm called Primerica and they started their own business.

In 2013 she was diagnosed with a very rare type of cancer, and was given 3 to 6 months to live. She has always believed it’s not what happens to you it’s how you respond, so she decided to turn this test into a testimony and with a great attitude she took on this life challenge by relying on her faith and mental toughness, 3 years later after several of the strongest chemo treatments left the hospital cancer free, today she is a National Sales Director with more than 800 license agents all over the states and growing.

She used the stones life threw at her as stepping stones to elevate to the next level .

Her goal is to empower other entrepreneurs how to confront their challenges and still build a multi million dollar business, to take ownership over their life and have control over their time and income.

Our next speaker for “Cocktails with Christie” is Kariann Voorhees.

She graduated cm laude from Whittier Law School in 2013. There she served as an executive member of Moot Court Honors Board and was a member of the Whittier Law Review. During law school, Kariann was awarded best overall advocate in the Gail P. Sonnenburg oral advocacy competition. Kariann was a certified law clerk for the Orange County District Attorney’s Office for a term as well as an extern with the Superior Court of Orange County for the Honorable Elaine Streger.
After finishing law school, she opened Voorhees Law Group, PC and has been serving clients in southern California since then.

Born in East LA and raised in Azusa, Debra began working in the laundry room of a convalescent hospital at 11 years of age out of necessity to help the family.

Always knowing this was not the life she wanted to live, Debra began watching others to find a role model and after completing 27 full marathons, she truly believes that you can achieve anything if you want it bad enough.

Debra, along with her husband Tim, and colleague Devrae, are now #1 in The Country for First American Title, the largest title company in the nation.

Debra is passionate about helping her clients achieve their goals and run their business like a business.

I’m honored to have her speak and share her thoughts and knowledge on business and what’s taken her to the top.

Shelley is a wife of 23 years, mother to 3 teenage sons and 4 fur babies! She’s been with Arbonne for almost 8 years and has been a Regional Vice President for 4 of those years.

When she started Arbonne it was literally for the discount,😂

However, what she learned is that Arbonne became her vehicle to help others who are struggling with their health, wealth and overall well-being. Her goal in life is not to be successful, rather she wants to be significant. She loves helping others succeed!

In addition to being an Arbonne RVP Shelley is a personal trainer and coach at F45 and the athletic counselor at Chino Hills High School.

I’m honored to have this wonderful woman join us for our special night.
