The Rogers County Sheriff's Office is excited to announce our 1st ever, Youth Cadet Academy this Summer 2024. This will be a 1-week program, running from Monday, June 24th through Friday, June 28th from 9am to 4pm during the summer. This 1st program is designed for high school-age students incoming 9th through the 12th grade.

Tuition, breakfast, and lunch are provided by the Sheriff's Office as well as the uniform t-shirt and polo. Students will be exposed to several different areas of the justice system from touring the Amos G Ward Detention Facility, the Rogers County Courthouse, the Rogers County E911 Center, meeting with Sheriff Scott Walton, the District Attorney's Office, observing court proceedings, and more.

Students will participate in daily classes and exercises from learning about the core functions of the Sheriff's Office, learning fi****ms safety and driver safety through the use of our simulator systems, mock crime scenes, learning about new and upcoming technologies in law enforcement from computer and cell phone forensics to drone operations and more.
