Tulsa SPCA is pleased to be partnering with Light of Hope and Jerzy & Joey’s Hungry Paws for an outreach event in Claremore on Saturday, June 22nd. Please feel free to share this with those you know in the Rogers County area who were impacted by the recent storms.
What a wonderful Wednesday with amazing LOH Family!
Light of Hope is truly blessed with the most amazing Volunteers, Donors and Supporters.
The highlight of the day was celebrating our very own Cindy Opperude Griffith’s birthday. A beautiful cake, cupcakes and gifts were a special added treat for our dearest friend and LOH Board Member. Thank you Melissa and friends for all of the amazing birthday fun.
NE Tech’s Internship Students and Instructors,
Brook Hancock Easton and Chastity Long helped set up, prepare food, assisted setting up Jerzy & Jerzy & Joey’s Hungry Paws pet food display and delivered 30 meals to those impacted by the recent tornado.
They were joined by our incredible team of dedicated, caring and hard working volunteers who have been with us along every step of the way over the past four weeks. It would be impossible without their help. We love and appreciate each one of our LOH and Eastern Hills Baptist Church family.
Thursday’s menu will include: Sloppy joes, potatoe salad, bbq beans, melons and water or hydration drink.
Please share with your family and neighbors who are diligently working through the difficult
tornado recovery process.
If you’d like to support, volunteer or help with food and supplies, please call 918-373-4560, 918-373-4596 or visit www.lightofhopeinc.org

Mindie Baab, Alex Baab,
Jerzy, The Court Dog, Joey along with our LOH Team hosted an outstanding community event.
More than 175 individuals, families and children enjoyed every second of fun. Hundreds of dogs and cats received pet food and goodies.
Special thanks to Rogers County Court House,

LOH had an incredible week at Shipman Animal Hospital serving our community.
Hundreds and hundreds of friends were blessed with delicious food, supplies, dog & cat food, groceries, fuel assistance, community resources, tribal outreach, Jerzy & Joey hugs, felt their community care for neighbors and have friends PRAY for them through the most difficult time of their lives.
Light of Hope’s Board of Directors, volunteers, team/family have worked diligently and passionately for the past twelve days from early morning through late night making sure our neighbors are taken care of.
Conversations, emotions of sadness, disbelieve and loss are felt and understood by our LOH team. Our building was significantly damaged during the tornado. Although we cannot operate at our physical building, we are not halting programming in any way. In fact, we are “boots on the ground” helping our neighbors.
LOH donors and supporters helped make each day possible. Every dollar that’s been donated has helped change lives, bringing HOPE and promise of a better tomorrow.
LOH is committed to walk alongside our friends for the many days and months ahead.
Next week will be as exciting and fulfilling. Announcements will be made soon as to how you can support, volunteer and join our LOH Team.
