So blessed to be safe and not destroyed! Office roof suffered some damage and my back building office as well. I am so thankful for McGill Roofing!!! They are already at my office patching things up for a temporary fix! Logan Mcgill, Michele Lee McGill, Sam Mcgill, Yance McGill, you all mean the world to me and you are always there for me in my emergency roof situations…and I have had quite a few of them! You all are amazing and I can say McGill Roofing is the best in Claremore my opinion. Rogers County is an amazing community and I am blessed to be a part of it! My phone has rang and texts coming nonstop since midnight last night checking in me. I have had so many reaching out offering to help in any way they can. So many offering us a place to stay since the power is out. “Daddy Cash” David Cash offering to come help and a place to stay …
Sheriff Walton calling me first thing this morning checking on me and offering to help in any way he can. Friends sneaking into Claremore checking on my office during the night (thanks Edith Singer and Holyn Wolfe) for the phone calls in the night letting me know my business is still standing! I love Claremore and Rogers County is one of a kind. God is great!!! And the Fowler family is blessed and loved beyond measure!

We are looking to add an optometric technician/doctors scribe to our team at Advanced Vision Center! Optometric assistants strive to provide the best quality care for our patients and assist our doctor. Your role as an Optometric assistant may include pretesting patients, front desk duties, insurance authorizations, scribing for the doctor, contact lens instruction on insertion and removal, and assisting patients in the optical. We are looking for a person who is passionate about patient care, excited to learn new skills, outgoing, friendly, has great attention to detail, and not afraid of a fast paced environment. You should be great at communicating clearly and effectively-in person, on the phone, and online. Dedicated to making customers happy and exceeding their expectations with a great attitude while being capable of juggling a diverse set of responsibilities. All our employees are cross trained so answering phones, pulling insurance authorizations, scheduling appointments and etc will be included in any employee’s list of duties.



Requirements include:

*Please DO NOT SEND RESUME IF YOU DO NOT HAVE AT LEAST 1-2 YEARS OPTICAL EXPERIENCE*

· 2+ years of Optical or Optometric experience
· Competent in using computers/Electronic Medical Record Systems
· Ability to spend most of the day on your feet

Dr. Abby strives to have the best prices and offer the best quality in eyeglasses as well as in service from start to finish of the customers experience.

· 1 week of paid vacation after 1 year of employment; 2 weeks of paid vacation after 5 years of employment
· Closed on major Holidays with paid time off (does not take away from your vacation hours)
· Vision care and glasses benefits (up to a certain benefit amount noted in employee handbook). End of year/Christmas bonuses given based on years of work at AVC and amount of productivity during the work year.

*Pay will be based on optometric experience.
Pay scale will be anywhere from $15/hr up to be not limited to $23/hr start pay.

-Monthly bonuses offered if monthly goals achieved

Monday 8-5 (Closed for lunch 12-1)

Tuesday 9-7 (Closed for lunch 1-2)

Wednesday 8-5 (Open through lunch, rotate 15 minute lunch breaks)
