Life has been busy, busy, busy with us making all the goodies!! Usually I ask for 2 wks notice for all orders, but currently we are booked out 4-6 weeks 🥵🥵

Currently I have: May 3rd, 4th & 31st and June 15th left on my calendar!🗓️

Please remember we are CLOSED July 1 to October 1 because I will be away to the police academy! 🚔

With little dates left available, reach out to let me know if you need any goodies before I go!!

PS-I think we need to do a traditional cookie day again soon! You can’t go wrong with the OGs!🍪

✨Friendly Update✨

If invoices are not paid within 3 DAYS of it being sent, your order is automatically cancelled. Period. My arm was forced to move this date from 7 days to 3 days due to multiple people not completing their invoices in a timely manner, cancellations or…let’s be honest…ghosting after placing an order.

Our system sends multiple invoice reminders directly to your email & tells me when they are viewed. Please do not waste everyone’s time by requesting a quote, scheduling a date, then not pay your invoice. Once your order has been cancelled due to non-payment, that date is open to the next available order and will not be available to be booked by the non-payee again.

Also remember that I work a full time + job, on top of running a business and I have a family at home too. I am only human and there are only so many hours in the day. Sometimes I don’t get to sending invoices till 1:30am or 2:00am because thats when I have a moment to breathe and catch up. I will always send you your invoice, it just may not be right this very second. This is why I allow the system to send reminders…because we are all only human!

With great sadness, we have decided to withdrawal our attendance from The Clarksville Cookie Crawl this weekend.

As it goes, my husband and I caught the bug 🦠 last week & haven’t be able to kick the yuck yet! We don’t want to risk any one who may be immune compromised or any of the kiddos catching the yuck, so we have decided to cancel our attendance to this event.

As many if you know, my husband and I both work in fields that expose us to the yuck on a regular basis and we are exhausted with it always finding its way in before big events 🥵 Thankfully antibiotics are on board & we are on the up and up! (And that its not Covid! Woo!) But we wouldn’t be responsible small business owners if we attended not feeling our best!

We are taking the next few days to rest and recharge before Valentine’s Day next week! 🩵

With 2024 officially here, we wanted to share some exciting news!!

2023 ended on the quiet end for us over here at Sugar & Crumbs Bakery. I purposely made our availability slim, to enjoy and be present for the holidays, to adapt to some changes at work & to attend to some BIG changes coming to our home this coming year!!!

Firstly, we want to thank EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. Of our amazing 2023 clients!! You made this year so amazing and I am absolutely honored to have been a part of each of your special occasions!

As for news, I have opened our calendar, applied for us to attend Clarksville Cookie Crawl Feb 10th at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center and am already working on some fun Valentine’s Day goodies!!

As for family, we are all healthy, happy & thriving! This year is going to bring some *additions* to our home for both our careers and our family, and we can’t wait to share the news with all of you!!

A LOT of our neighbors have severe property damage, some losing their entire homes, cars, motorcycles & campers.

This week we will be opening our home to ANYONE who needs a hot shower, full belly, charging station, clothes washed or a place to lay their head for the night! We have a full guest room and bathroom stocked and ready for anyone who needs it!!

Ketchums Kennels here in town is offering assistance in watching any fur babies that have been displaced, NE Highschool is offering a shelter to all, YAIPak is offering food and shelter assistance and sooooo many more!!

Do NOT hesitate to ask for help!! We are so grateful to have been “missed” by this storm, but our community was not so please reach out!!!

Please pay your invoices!

ALL invoices MUST be paid within 5 days of them being sent. Non payment will result in cancellation of your requested date & require re-booking. All dates are first come, first serve so if someone else has paid their invoice for the date you wanted & your invoice is still pending payment, you will need to rebook for another date.

All orders are required to be placed & paid up within 2 weeks of the order date so please plan ahead. As of now ❗️ALL OF SEPTEMBER IS BOOKED❗️October has 1 weekend date left & I am accepting orders for November starting this weekend. I will be cancelling all unpaid invoices over 5 days old today.

I *hate* being this particular, but my time is literally being wasted sending invoices, sending reminder emails, msgs and texts, then declining other orders in hopes an invoice will be paid and finding out the original order needs to be cancelled & I have lost not 1 but 2 orders.

Life’s been a little crazy and I keep forgetting to post pictures!!

I did this beauty for my friends daughters 13th birthday party and it was a HIT!!

Vanilla cake, butter cream icing & no black food coloring here 👌🏻 Too often do I hear “black food coloring tastes like paint”…and well…it does 🤣 I use a recipe that I’ve honed to perfection to make a smooth and delicious “paint free flavored” icing & let me toot my own horn in saying it is soooo good! 🤣

🎃🧡🍁Fall is right around the corner, so that means we are working on our Fall/Spooky menu and starting to look into planning vendor events for the coming months! 🍁🧡🎃

We are back from vacation & taking orders again!

I also thought this was a good time to do another intro post for all of our new wonderful supporters and clients!

I am Sarah, I am a military spouse🇺🇸, I work full time for Robertson County Sheriffs Office 🚨and I am a full time student getting my Ph.D 🤓(and going crazy in the process😝) I grew up in a house with a mother who was a baker 👩🏼‍🍳& a father who did some time in a fancy white chefs coat 👨🏻‍🍳

I LOVE to cook, bake, create & have fun with food! I am severely ADHD so I want to learn ALL the things in the matter of 3 mins 🤣 All gas, no breaks 🤣

Hubby (Mike) & I don’t have any kids (yet!) but we have 3 fur babies that truly rule this house 🤣 If you come by to pick up some treats, Dakota (our mini husky & self appointed bakery welcome wagon) will be the FIRST to greet you (even if it means running under my feet in the process 🤣)

I am a one woman show with a hubs who is my muscle 🤣 I do everything from marketing, planning, scheduling, invoicing, profit/loss control, photography, designing, baking, decorating, boxing, labeling making & wayyyy more. Mike helps carry the heavy things, set up big events/tents/chairs and is my own personal “my wife is having a melt down so I am the chaos coordinator now” extraordinaire!! 🤣🤣 (PS-He is the stinkin best! 😘)

We are so happy to have everyone here to love & support us & we can’t wait to start sharing our FALL plans!! 🍁🍂 (PS-It involves a LOT of Pumpkin Crinkles!🎃)

Starting Monday, 7/10/23 we will be 🛑Closed🛑 for vacation!!!

The last 2 months have been a whirlwind of busy & with my husband coming home from deployment, I am hanging up the closed sign for 2 weeks to enjoy some much needed family time 🩵

If you have a previously placed order, I will of course be fulfilling it, I just won’t be taking any new/custom orders until we reopen ☺️

Hey all!

Life has been little crazy this last week & we have finally taken a moment to breathe 🤣

Mike left for deployment, my work sch has been wonky to account for that, we made some amazing connections with folks from Cross Creek Clays ANDDDD we have made a *BIG* addition to our menu that will be ready to announce later this week 😍😍😍

For now, lets celebrate this cutie!! Mom asked for Monster High for her little so that’s what we did! I low key want a cake just like this for my birthday (which is next month! Eek!!)!!!!!!

Our 3rd and final day at Cross Creek Clays 160th SOAR(A) Night Stalker Memorial Tournament has come to a close and I am SO SO SOOOOO incredibly thankful for Joe, Marcia and all the staff at Cross Creek Clays for opening their home and business up to us these past few days!

There was definitely a moment of panic and doubt that I could "pull this off" (because you already know that I am my own worst enemy LOL!) but we had a BLAST!!! We met so so soooo many people who have dedicated their lives to the 160th Special Operations community that I was literally star struck at one point LOL

Everyone made us feel like we were at home, offered a helping hand and was so appreciative and supportive of my little small business! I am truly so lucky and honored to be able to serve and support our Night Stalker family! We cannot wait to see everyone again next year!

Day ✌🏻 of the 160th SOAR(A) Night Stalker Memorial Tournament with Cross Creek Clays is in the books!!!!

Today we offered a hot breakfast (waffles & biscuits and sausage gravy) as our main meal, plus a yogurt bar & a waffle bar so you could doctor up your food how ever you would’ve liked!🧇🫐🍫🍯

Part of todays festivities for the event was a fly in by one of 160ths Black Hawks and one of their Little Birds. They flew over the shooting complex, then landed inside the complex for everyone to stop by and check out. 🚁✈️

Thankfully we didn’t have any rain today and the sun came out to make it a very pretty day! ☀️

Tomorrows the last day of the tournament and we cannot wait to see everyone there!! ❤️❤️
