We had a blessed Sunday kicking off our Friends of the Family series with Pastor Mark Ramirez from Calvary Chapel Fredericksburg, Virginia! Join us TOMORROW at 9am or 11am as we continue our series with Pastor Kevin Miller.

Awaken Women would like to extend a cordial invitation to Tea Time on Saturday, September 21st from 10:00am to 1:00pm!

We will share a 5 minute devotional before we sample our first round of three teas!

We encourage your best tea party attire! There will be a friendly voting for the best dressed and best hat/fascinator! BUT if this is not your jam to dress up, don’t let that deter you from coming…Come as you are is always welcome!

Our ladies always have the best time together - we only wish it was longer! This past Saturday was our Sip & Play day with games and lots of iced drinks. Stay tuned for next month's Women's Fellowship!

HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!

As we celebrate our freedom here in America, let's remember that it is a blessing from God and because of it, we can worship Him freely. Take time this Independence Day to reflect on all of God's goodness in your life and make it a goal not to take that for granted.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRTEENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE, THE SENATE CONCURRING, that the period of July 1, 2024, through July 31, 2024, be recognized as a time of prayer and fasting in Tennessee.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that we recognize that God, as Creator and King of all Glory, has both the authority to judge and to bless nations or states.

TEAM HIGHLIGHT: Lighting!

We're so grateful for those who are serving on the Worship and Production team, specifically within the lighting team. Lighting is integral to how a worship service is experienced. It can set the mood for a moment of quiet introspection or for a big, joyous celebration. Proper lighting is important to make sure that the room isn't too bright to be distracting, but is bright enough to enhance our view of the main event. Whether using a spotlight or many different lights with different colors, the lighting crew is invaluable to creating the worshipful atmosphere you've come to love at Awaken!
