🇺🇸 Today, we honor the brave men and women who have endured the unimaginable for our nation. 🇺🇸
On this National POW/MIA Recognition Day, we remember those who were taken as prisoners of war, those who never returned, and the families who continue to wait for their loved ones. Their sacrifice, courage, and resilience will never be forgotten.
Let us all take a moment to reflect on the cost of freedom and stand together in gratitude for these heroes, ensuring their stories live on in our hearts.

Happy Constitution Day! 🇺🇸
Today, we celebrate the signing of the U.S. Constitution in 1787—a document that laid the foundation for our nation and our freedoms. The Constitution is not just a piece of paper; it's a living symbol of the rights and liberties we hold dear, including freedom of speech, the right to bear arms, and the balance of power that keeps our republic strong.
As we reflect on the importance of this historic day, let’s remember our duty to protect and uphold the values that make America great. Our Constitution ensures that We the People are the voice of this nation, and it’s up to all of us to ensure it continues to serve every generation.
Let’s honor the Constitution today and every day by staying informed, voting, and defending the principles that keep our country free!

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost and the heroes who emerged on September 11, 2001. On this Patriot Day, we honor the bravery of our first responders, the resilience of the American spirit, and the unity that carried our nation through one of its darkest days.
As we reflect on the tragedy of 9/11, let us also remember how we came together as a country, standing strong in the face of adversity. We owe an immense debt of gratitude to the men and women who ran towards danger to protect and save others, and to those who continue to serve on the front lines in our communities today.
May we never forget the lessons of that day — courage, sacrifice, and unity. 🇺🇸
Excellent choice! Congrats Chief Rios!
Tracy Lane closed beginning Sept. 11
CLARKSVILLE, Tenn.- Beginning Wednesday, Sept. 11, a portion of Tracy Lane, which accesses Whitfield Road, will be closed to traffic. It is anticipated that this closure will last approximately seven days, until Sept. 18.
With the new roadway open to traffic on Whitfield, workers have turned their attention to excavating the former travel lanes and completing the widening project. This closure will allow crews to backfill and grade the area prior to paving.
Drivers are advised to seek alternate routes.
Proud to be selected as Chairman of the County Parks Committee... at my very first meeting. Do you follow their page?

I’m all in for the sense of connection and fun that Rhonda the Roundabout has brought to our community. With over 20,000 people following the 'Rhonda the Roundabout' page, it’s clear this little traffic circle has become a big deal. To the critics who think driving around the roundabout is some kind of cardinal sin—relax and enjoy the ride! We’ve already seen some amazing things come out of this, like a fundraiser for su***de awareness, proving Rhonda’s more than just a traffic circle; it’s actually a force for good!
Now, to the city leaders and CPD officers who want to put the brakes on this—why stop something that’s actually bringing people together? And don’t get me started on the traffic camera being turned off. As the County Commissioner that represents this area, that move gets a BIG thumbs down from me!
Hey Mayor Joe Pitts, let’s get that camera back up and running, and let's keep the positive vibes rolling!
