Registration for the Fall Semester of the Roxy Regional Theatre School of the Arts will open up Wednesday, July 10th at 9 AM! Classes will begin Saturday, August 10th! This year we are revamping the program a little, due to the phenomenal growth we experienced during last year's sessions! This Fall, we will be splitting up age groups! Ages 8-12 (or the Beginner/Intermediate Level) will meet Saturdays, from 9am - 10:30am. Ages 13-18 (or Intermediate/Advanced) will meet on Saturdays from 10:30am - 12:30pm. The Clarksville Women’s Club is pleased to announce its inaugural scholarship program to support and encourage young and budding artists’ involvement in the Roxy Regional Theatre School of the Arts. These scholarships will be made available for the Spring 2024 semester of School of the Arts beginning January 13, 2024 and culminating with the mainstage production of “The SpongeBob Musical: Youth Edition” in May 2024. The principal aim of this scholarship program is to offer financial support to students aged 8-18 in our community with a passion and interest in the performing arts, who may not otherwise be able to participate in the Roxy’s veteran program. Scholarship awards will be applied to the tuition rate for School of the Arts, and will range in amounts from $250-$500. To Apply: Please submit a completed application form along with a letter describing your interest in theatre and what participating in the School of the Arts program and being able to perform in a mainstage musical would mean to you. Please also explain how a lesser scholarship amount, if awarded, would be helpful and/or what impact would be had if it were not granted.
