Got the post season blues? Go chase some snow geese along the Mississippi or central fly ways. This time of year it is a conservation hunt which means electric calls, unlimited bag limit and unplugged guns! Ever wonder how your spread looks to the birds? If your state allows it take a quick peak with a drone and it’ll tell you all you need to know to better your spread or hide!
First egg from the new flock laid on the coldest day in the week. Winter time typically yields lower egg number. So the fact that we got one from our young hens is a blessing.
Buck making his breakfast sausage that he will hopefully get to eat in a duck blind real soon
Spotted sea trout on today’s solo fishing trip. Lemon pepper and butter for these fish.
Nick doubling up with his fancy suppressor. 😂🤘
Fall/winter garden: pre cold snap harvest. Let’s see how the garden fares during this winter weather. DEC 16 is FL rifle season for deer. I’ve only been deer hunting one time this year So we shall see how it pans out.
Had a great opening day of rifle season here in Tennessee. This is what it's all about folks, making memories with the ones we love, and filling the freezer!

The beaver boys (boy seen how everyone moved away) are back at it again. got a phone call the other day to come get some nuisance beavers off a local farm that were causing flooding into the Ag fields. Stay tuned to see what he ends up pulling out this go around.
A great hunt this Veterans Day weekend for and . 2 great KY bucks and a doe.
Jake with the help of his brother finally got the chicken run buttoned up. Just some final touches needed. It is a blessing to have family or good friends that live nearby with the same values and love for the outdoors as you do.
Colton getting it done with this nice buck in GA!
Big Buck down! Nick with a nice deer in TN!
With the cold front coming through tonight I did some harvesting and will be covering the plants to try and keep them alive during the frost. Lord willing we will have some more harvests out of them.
Mustards, greens beans, spinach, and Swiss chard 🤘
Duck fajita season! We eat what we kill. We do things a little different round here 🤘* don’t mind the dirty cooktop. Cooking is a whole event lol
Pre wash to washed and drying. The mustard greens will get cut up and stored for sautéing and salad mixes. The green beans will be made into a casserole. Plants that produce multiple harvests are cool 😎 Thank you Lord for these blessings.
Time to build the run the way I should’ve to begin with. 😂
Day 4 ND! Chip made his 600th retrieve today and is now at 606 completed retrieves. Share this and smash that like button!

First day in North Dakota and it was a banger! Stay tuned for more content.
No matter how busy your life is, how fast pace the world is, always make time to slow down and get outside make memories and fill them freezers. GA you’ve been… not very fun I hope to never be back here.
Looking good so far. I’ll finish it up tomorrow and start planting Wednesday. The idea behind the raised rows is to aid in amending the soil underneath it. I have a predominantly clay soil which is not ideal for many vegetables. I’ll be running no till for the first 3-5 years to really try to create a good living soil filled with worms, microorganisms, etc. that will be beneficial to growing food. After that we will decide if the soil underneath is better and move on in our planting strategies from there.
Getting to this hole was a nightmare good thing I didn’t go first thing in the morning. The Florida vegetation makes getting to a body of water a chore. But now to sit for the evening flight.
Late post: We here at OutSide 365 are busy folks just like many of y’all. In between work, school, family and whatever else is going on, we understand sometimes it’s hard to get out and enjoy those perfect days to hunt or fish or camp or really anything. But we encourage you to take that time to yourself or take that time to get those new to the outdoors and just get outside.
September 9th Jon and Nick kicked off early wood duck season in western TN. After work/school Jon was able to sneak out with his son in a local swamp and knock some of those cobwebs off both himself and his trusty dog chip as well as introduce his son Orion to hunting in swampy areas.
Not a huge haul but it is the targeted species for the day. Mangrove snapper for dinner tonight.
Today I caught a haus of a fish. 41” 37lbs black drum on a tiny piece of shrimp and a number one hook. This guy came strolling through the shallows and ate the hook. Not the strongest fight ever but a big ole fish.
