Cumberland Baseball Club
Youth travel baseball organization based out of Clarksville, TN
Where do we even begin,
Words cannot describe the amount of appreciation and gratitude for the 20+ volunteer board members and coaches that showed up for 5 straight days to run evaluations. We are in awe of the determination and grit of the over 120 players that showed up to tryouts ready to play ball. To the families that showed respect and truly want to invest in the future of their young men on and off the field, we see you. From kindergarteners to middle schoolers and everywhere in between those boys had dedication. Thank you.
The decisions made over the past few days have not been taken lightly. Some have been down right hard. No matter the outcome we hope all the players continue to work hard and grow their love for the game of Baseball.
We are excited about the future. We are delighted to welcome roughly 90 players to the Cumberland Baseball Club for the 2024-2025 seasons.
Go Commanders!
At this time if you have a player that attended the Tryout and you have not yet received an email from a coach please reach out at [email protected]. If you are asking for player evaluation feedback please give us a few days for a reply. Thank you!
9U Families,
Following the incredible weekend of tryouts; we have delayed selection letters for the 9U as Coaches and Board Members continue to work through the process of trying to establish a second 9U Team. With such a large showing and so many talented ball players - we are working hard on the administrative side to see what the organization can manage. Thank you for your patience - every player will recieve a letter over the next few days.

Baseball is the mechanism.
Being a military child comes with incredible advantages and significant disadvantages. Young men like Conner and Dillion are some the most resilient, adaptable, and respectful young men: unfortunately, they have also had more than 7 moves in the last 9 years. A military lifestyle can be very challenging when it comes to competitive sports. Both Conner and Dillion have shown amazing consistency and competitive desire in what can be an inconsistent way of life.
Once again, Team Cody is PCSing this summer and before they left, our coaches presented Connor and Dillion a little baseball keepsake from the Commanders, but most importantly, a thank you for having such an positive impact on all of us through your contagious energy and love of the game.
As always, it’s not goodbye - it’s see ya later. We wish you the very best on your next baseball and military adventure and hope to have you back here soon. Baseball is the mechanism that will ensure these special relationships we’ve forged last a lifetime!
Tryout dates and times are scheduled.
Players are required to attend both evaluation periods for their age group.

Baseball is the mechanism. It is the mechanism that brings us together. It allows us as coaches to teach and mentor. It allows us to be humbled and learn patience. Baseball creates relationships and friendships that last a lifetime.
In a military community, we say goodbye more often than we’d like - but as we always say: it’s not goodbye, it’s see you later. Elijah and his family have left an indelible mark on the coaches and families of his 9U National Commanders Team.
We presented Elijah with a small “PCS” gift as he and his family depart on their next Army adventure. The Boyles family gave us an unexpected and incredible gift too!
The friendship built over the last two-years will last a lifetime. We wish you and your family the very best - goodbye for now, I know we’ll see you later!
Tryouts are around the corner, hope to see you there!
The Cumberland Baseball Club will be holding Commanders Tryouts the week of July 29th in the Clarksville area.
Age groups of 7U, 8U, 9U, 10U, 11U, and 12U will each hold two-days of tryouts during the week.
Exact days of the week and times for tryouts will be announced in the next few weeks! Thank you for all the inquiries. If families have any questions please email us at:

Go Commanders!
What a crazy season of weather! Unfortunately the 9U National Commanders had their last tournament canceled due to rain… Luckily the team was able to celebrate a fantastic 12-6 season together at City Forum.
The boys finished their season defeating the coaches in an epic game of laser tag! To all our players participating in Little League All-Stars: good luck and play great!
To Elijah Boyles whose family is PCS’ing this summer - we wish you the very best and hope to see you again soon.
Have a fantastic summer and we look forward to seeing everyone at tryouts in July!
Huge thank you to our sponsors for supporting our boys this weekend. A truly great weekend for the Commanders organization bringing home two tournament championships in two different states. We are not able to be a great organization without the support of our great sponsors!
