Congrats to our 16u G1 Fastpitch team and coaches 🥎♥️🥎

These ladies went 4-0 on the day bringing home the championship at the USFA August Bash in Donelson TN! 🏆

Congrats to our G1 10u baseball team and coaches on their runner up finish this past weekend ⚾️

The boys battled hard in the heat coming out 2nd place in the gold bracket at the USSSA Summer Slab Tournament!

G1 Fastpitch 2010 had the opportunity today to learn from Christian County High School 2025 MI Adcock (Committed to Mizzou Softball) on the recruiting process, what it takes to be a D1 athlete, and how to conduct yourself with class both on and off the field. Let us tell you, this young lady is the real deal and we are huge fans!!! She even got in some training with us after her presentation. Thanks and come back anytime Avery!!!

A few G1 teams are looking for roster additions for the 24/25 season. Please message us and we will put you in touch with a head coach for a workout!

2016: Team still forming. 2016 or 2017 birth years.
2014: 1 player, utility preferred.
2013: 1-2 players, pitchers preferred.
2012: 1-2 players, utility preferred.

8U: 2 players, infielders preferred.
2035/2036 Grads or 5/1/16-4/30/18.

15U: 1-2 players, pitchers preferred.
2028 Grads or 5/1/09-4/30/10

**G1 Tryout Info**
As of 7:30pm 7/26/24

-Please arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled time slot. Please check in at the welcome tent in front of St B Concessions. If you have not filled out the online Jotform registration please do so asap. Link is:

-Once you check in your player will receive a card and be directed to the age/grade appropriate field. They will give this card to a G1 Head Coach. Players will not be allowed on the field unless they have a card (this includes returning players).

-Each tryout will be group format and be finished within 2 hours. Players need to wear full baseball/softball attire, have turfs/cleats, glove, bat, batting helmet, and defensive facemask (softball only).

-Parents, please save questions for coaches until the end of your tryout. They will be happy to speak with you after their time slot is finished. Our focus is to make sure your player has a good time while they are trying out. It’s an exciting but also nervous event for them. We want them to feel comfortable and have FUN!!!

-Any weather updates will be posted on the G1 Athletics page. Please don’t send us a bunch of messages about the weather. We are going to do any and everything we can to give it a go so your player can shine! 🌞

📢 Exciting Announcement from CCS Athletics! 🎉

We are thrilled to announce that Travis Cocke has been tapped as the new High School Head Softball Coach at CCS! 🥎

As the Founder and President of G1 Athletics, a Christ-centered travel baseball & softball organization, Coach Cocke has a remarkable record of successful college placements, with 100% of his high school seniors receiving collegiate offers to continue playing at the next level.

With extensive involvement in the Clarksville area baseball and softball scenes, he brings a wealth of experience to our program. His coaching career includes stints with Clarksville National Little League Baseball, Clarksville Orioles Travel Baseball, Clarksville Academy Middle School Baseball, St. Bethlehem Senior League Baseball, Clarksville National Little League Softball, and G1 Athletics Fastpitch & Travel Baseball. During his coaching career of over 750 competitive games, Coach Cocke has consistently scheduled strong competition, ensuring maximum growth potential for his players.

In the 2023-24 season, Travis engaged with CCS to help develop and launch the middle school softball program. Working closely with Coach Phil Burkart, the founder of Centurions Softball, this past season culminated with the high school team earning a berth in the TSIAA State Championship game, finishing with a State Runner-Up title. 🏆 Burkart will continue to be an integral part of the program as the Director of Softball Operations, collaborating with Coach Cocke to ensure continued success and development.

Travis Cocke shared, "I am honored and excited to take over the CCS Softball program, and look forward to building upon the legacy that Coach Burkhart began 6 years ago. We return several starters from a group that competed for a state title, and have some very talented freshmen moving up from the middle school squad. We expect the 2025 season will lay the foundation for unprecedented growth for our program.

Within 5 years our expectation is to win multiple state championships, expand the number of middle & high school teams to include a Varsity, JV, Freshman, and 6th grade squad. We will schedule the best competition and focus on player development from 5th-12th grades. There will be a plan in place for all athletes to have the opportunity to play collegiate softball if they work hard, get it done in the classroom, and honor God both on and off the field.

With the way our program will be structured, along with the new CCS campus being developed on Rossview Road, we will have access to facilities and resources unlike any school in the Southeast. Parents who are looking for a program on the rise where their children will be coached/mentored the right way need to give us a call. My goal is to make Centurions Softball the best High School program in the nation. I am very honored and humbled that God gave me this opportunity, it’s time to get to work!!!"

CCS Athletic Director Jason Shelton added, "We are excited about having Coach Cocke lead our softball program. His expertise and commitment to excellence will undoubtedly elevate our team to even greater heights, and we look forward to seeing the continued growth and success of our young ladies under his guidance."

Coach Cocke is 1999 Graduate of The University Of Tennessee Knoxville, where he earned a Bachelor Of Science Degree with a concentration in Finance. Married to his wife Jeanna for 22 years, they have 2 children: Cade-18 and Reese-13. Cade is a 2024 CCS graduate and will be playing college baseball for Tennessee Wesleyan. Reese is entering 8th grade at CCS and plays softball and volleyball.

Congrats to our 13u G1 Baseball team and coaches on their championship win at the Game 7 Tournament this past weekend ⚾️

The boys fought hard going 2-1-1 on the weekend! Stepping up in competition this year was a challenge but this victory showed just how much growth and development they gained over the season 👊🏼 Way to go team and coaches!

The boys fought hard all day in the 15u division to get to that championship game!!

Big Congrats 🎉 to G1 Fastpitch players Aly, Emma, Aliyah, Chloe, & Annalise for helping to bring a State Championship to St. Bethlehem Little League!!! Great job team, ladies, and coaches!!!
