recently we have had some hateful/bashing reviews from new customers who did not read parking signage or did not know about our parking situation with the assumption that we somehow benefit from cars being towed in the lot our cafe is on.
Accusing us of scamming people. 💔

If you know us, are a regular customer or have just really enjoyed our cafe we would love it if you would share that experience through a google review/fb review or yelp review.

Our team works so hard each and everyday to get the cafe where it is today and as a small family owned business we rely heavily on those experiences.
We know that these negative reviews are small compared to the truly wonderful interactions we have with so many of you on a daily basis
And we truly love this place and we completely understand that the parking situation is not ideal.

We have submitted for 30 new signs on top of the 5 we currently have.
But we can 1000% assure you that we do not and could not benefit from people being towed in the lot we reside on. Its actually the opposite.

Our goal is to make the best powerlifting, bodybuilding and overall training gym in town! And we have achieved just that and we will only continue to be better!

If you’ve been to the cafe then you have probably seen Momo. Shes our resident baker.
Our pastry QUEEN. The one who makes all our lives extra sweet. 🍰
Since day one (1 year ago) Momo has set out to make everything she can from scratch.
(Boxed or frozen anything is 🚫 forbidden )
This role was a huge undertaking for her, shes given everything to this place and has amazed us all with her incredible growth and determination.
We wanted to hightlight how special she is to all of us and how grateful we are for her!

Coffee was a new journey for most of our team and we absolutely love how open they have been through the entire learning process.
Our menu and seasonal items have become a collaborative effort and we are so grateful for the creativity and growth they have brought to the table.

Spring mix • local micro-greens • grain blend of quinoa and farro • crumbled goat cheese • green apples • candied walnuts + pecans • dried apricots + goji berries.
Tossed in a light balsamic dressing and made with a ton of love 🫶🏻

I mean…it’s topped with fresh baked brownie.

Once upon a time (yesterday) we took 800 pictures of our toasts..
And these were our favorite.

One of our regularly sold out items, it’s become our house staple.
The burrata toast is sourdough with local butter
Roasted tomatoes and garlic topped with soft Burrata and fresh basil. 🌱
Served all day (or until sold out)
*We roast the tomatoes in house so this item is prepped daily*

Our current Seasonal toast is about to rotate out for the upcoming spring and summer season.
The much loved whipped goat cheese, Bartlett pear and candied walnuts will only be available until March 1st!

Our Stroopwafel has come a long way since the first week of the cafe.
Momo came up with this one only a few weeks before we opened
(none of us really know how she managed to procure this traditional and authentic recipe from someone in the Netherlands)
But she spent a long time making these for the first few months we were open.
Lots of trial and error..
As Momo has progressed and grown, her pastries reflect that tremendously.
This Stroopwafel is by far our favorite version..and will be in house today 🤍 🇳🇱
and It pairs perfectly ☕️

POV: it’s Friday and you just want to be someplace where the coffee is good, the food is fresh and made to order with love and intention.
The staff most likely know you by name and they are always super happy to see you walk in. 🫶🏻

🌱1) they care deeply about every cup of coffee they make you. So does it take a bit longer than sbux?..definitely. But sometimes the best things take time.
🌱2) they come up with most if not all of your favorite drinks (and always work really really hard on perfecting them)
🌱3) latte art is a work in progress ..😉but they really love working on it so don’t be surprised if they make you take a pic when they nail it 🤍
🌱4) every single one of them would stop and give you the shirt off their back in a heartbeat.

I wish we had more ways to show how much we love and appreciate our entire staff
But we wanted to write a sappy post and praise them for their commitment, love and true passion for this space and our coffeehouse community. 🫶🏻☕️🌱
