You guys! I’m so excited to share this very special organization that I came across!

One of my goals heading into wedding season this year was to be more sustainable. (No more of that icky foam if I can help it!!) When I came across The BLOOM Project I was SO excited! My weddings will not only bring joy to my couples and their families, but they’ll brighten the days of so many others afterwards! I can’t wait to share more “leftovers” with this sweet organization in the upcoming months!

There are a ton of new faces around here, so I thought it was time I broke my social media hiatus (it wasn’t intentional, I’m just really terrible at posting) and introduced myself.

🌻 I am Laura, owner and creative mind behind Blue Root Florals
🌻 My favorite flower is a ranunculus…or a protea…or an anemone. Never mind! I can’t choose!
🌻 I joined the mom club last year and it truly is better than I ever could’ve dreamed.
🌻 I’ve got Kentucky girl roots, but Tennessee has been home for well over a decade now (and we’re SO glad to be back)!
🌻 I left my career in healthcare in 2020 to chase this dream of mine and it was the best decision I’ve ever made! Blue Root just keeps growing and that’s all thanks to YOU!

Today turned out to be a stunning day! I LOVE how the garland looked on the upper deck.

Emma wanted something “pretty and schooly” to take her teacher on the first day of kindergarten. To meet the demands of the tiniest of customers is a tall order, but I think we did it! Happy first day of school, Emma!

Swipe to see that I literally wear the same thing to every single wedding. 🤣 Seriously though, yesterday came to life so beautifully! The Ruby Cora is a gorgeous venue on such a beautiful property and working with Maranda at Nashville Dream Events again was just that…a dream!
