Sorry for such a long absence. We have been working on projects and outreach events. Our goal has not changed. We still want to be a Church and a Brewery. We had some disappointment and we had some blessings! Thanks to Eric and Wendy Branstrom, who have been indispensable and a wonderful partner. We hope to build a facility that will be a brewing house for Tennessee Valley Brewing Company next to our church. We need to gain more financial support to accomplish this wonderful dream.

Our newest brew is a delicious dark IPA. Black Habit is what Luther wore in the Augustinian Order and is the name of our latest selection. So, make it a HABIT and pick up a bottle or two. Suggested donation of $8.00 for 22 ounces.

Our Brewmeister, Joey, has been feeling the need for liquid ‘sunshine’; so, he brewed up a batch of ‘CITRUS SESSION, IPA”--- a delightfully smooth beer with a sweet fruity flavor that should anticipate the feelings of spring and summer enjoyment. It is only a small batch, so contact the church for your share. Or better yet, come to the Hoot-n-Nanny we are having on the 26th of February. We will be having a HEE-HAW worship (10:45 am) with good music, bad jokes, and a rich feast of BBQ . . . that goes well with this BEER!

This year we earnestly pray that a building will be built, a brewery will be born, and many bottles of beer be available. Keep an eye on this page for updates . . . and a toast to the year ahead:

Picture below is our Meisterbrauer, Carl “Joey” Medeiros and his righteous beard , who makes the miracle of turning the water, yeast, hops and grains into liquid bread – the earthly manna. He also stands in for Aaron, as in Psalm 133 – “For harmony is as precious as the anointing oil that was poured over Aaron's head, that ran down his beard and onto the border of his robe.” Or maybe he fronts a tribute band to ZZ Top. Either way, he delivers the wonderful brew of our burgeoning brewery (say that five times fast). Thanks Joey!

We are a work in progress. And we thank everyone for their support in the 'Christkindlmarkt' (we only have a few bottles of American Ale and '1483' left).and their excitement about our page. Here's a earlier attempt at a logo . . . and we thought that Matt Groening wouldn't be so thrilled. It would be funny but not so smart.
