Another day, another inspection.
Sometimes what seems like just a clogged or slow drain can be an indication of a much larger problem.
When your sewer line is damaged it can go days, weeks, months, or even years before it causes major symptoms that you notice. However, if the problem is caught early, it can often be corrected by minimally invasive (and far less expensive) means.
If the problem is left unchecked, it typically results in needing your entire sewer line to be dug up, and replaced. Hopefully you’ve never had that experience, but if you have then you know it can be a VERY expensive and frustrating ordeal.
In the interest of trying to help our customers avoid tens of thousands of dollars in repairs, we are now offering FREE video sewer line inspections for any of our customers who schedule for clogged drain lines or toilets.
We will take care of your clog, then inspect your sewer line with our cameras just to make sure you don’t have a larger issue as the root cause (no pun intended!)
Give us a call, text, or email to get scheduled.

Have a great weekend!
Today marks our official 1 year anniversary of being open for business! Thank you to everyone who has, and who continues to support us. Without you, we quite literally wouldn’t exist.
It’s been an interesting first year, with a lot of lessons learned, a few setbacks, and a lot of wins and new friends along the way. When we started this company, we had no idea how quickly things would start to move and grow.
It is a lot of hard work to keep the ship headed in the right direction, but it is incredibly rewarding to be able to help so many people by doing things the RIGHT way and not always the easy way. We take pride in our craftsmanship, even if that ultimately means less profit. Our man goal is and always will be providing the very best service we can to our customers. Thank you all, and here’s to many more anniversaries to come!
Another tool in the leak detection arsenal.
Pricey, but could save having to open customer’s walls to pinpoint sources of leaks. Having the right tool for the job goes a long way towards quality work, and satisfied customers.
The easy path is seldom the right path. I salute all of y’all out there working hard!
New toilet, who dis?
This one was bad. Like..bad bad.
Pro-tip for y’all having toilet issues:
Do your plumber a favor and don’t leave a “surprise” in the bowl for weeks with the water off before calling them out to deal with it. It’s a bad time for everybody involved if you do. 🤢
This poor old toilet had seen better days, and had multiple issues and leaks that needed to be fixed.
Rather than scrapping it and installing a brand new toilet, the store owner opted for us to do a full rebuild.
It’s a bit more labor intensive, but a rebuild is typically far less expensive than a full replacement..especially in a commercial setting.
We pulled the tank and replaced the flush valve, fill valve, lever assembly, tank bolts, tank gasket, and supply line. The toilet now works like brand new, for a fraction of the cost of a replacement.
If your toilet is having issues, we’d be happy to offer you several options to get things flowing smoothly again. Give us a call!
New Service Alert!
Now offering sewer and drain line video camera inspections
Today’s project: New Bradford White 50 gallon heater and expansion tank for Walgreens.
Done and done.
Tips from a pro: Don’t throw orange peels down a floor drain. A bad day will result. Some people…I swear 🤦🏻♂️
Big shout out to the boss Jessica, for keeping me well fed and semi-organized. It’s her behind the scenes work that is the real backbone of this whole operation. I’m just the pretty face that shows up at your door to make stuff happen 🤣
If y’all would like to sample her baking skills, check out Sweet and Sourdough Clarksville TN
Hopefully the folks who work at Walgreen’s enjoy their nice new break room faucet. It looks pretty, but was a kind of a pain to install. Not as big of a pain as getting the old faucet out though!
Can’t say I’m a fan of all 3 components being separate instead of attached in a single unit, but it’s far better than what they had previously. Holy corrosion Batman!
If you see a leak, take care of it or call a plumber rather than letting it go on for awhile. I promise it’s just going to get worse and cause more problems.
If you need to drop the kids off at the pool at Sam’s Club, and happen to use the handicap stall in the men’s room that actually flushes now, you’re welcome!
We’re making Clarksville a better place one 💩 at a time!
Your friendly neighborhood sewer Santas! Broken and root infested main replaced and sloped perfectly, then re-buried like we were never even there.
Give us a call for all of your sewer line needs.
Sundays are for sewer mains. Apparently.
HVAC guys aren’t the only ones out here pouring sweat in this heat wave!
We’re happy to handle any of your plumbing needs..preferably after the HVAC guys get your air conditioner running again 🤣
Stay cool and hydrated out there everyone, happy Monday!
Shiny new flush valve and sensor assembly for Sam's Club It’s always a pleasure to work in their store, the management staff are great.
Maybe I’m weird. But a newly installed chrome assembly is super satisfying 🤣
Just realized I haven’t posted anything for a few weeks..so here I am. It’s been a hectic few weeks both work wise, and otherwise. We’re still here doing the damn thing though!! Give us a shout if you need help with any plumbing issues, or even if you just want to say hi!
(Pic of the new work truck for attention 😌)
Pro tip: Fitting selection and orientation matters!
Got called out to replace the garbage disposal, and noticed this Handy Andy special on the opposite sink 🤦🏻♂️
No proper tailpiece installed, end outlet tee fitting installed upside down, causing stagnant water to sit in disposal drain line, as well as unnecessary couplings.
On the right, you will see the new disposal installed with proper pipe configuration and slope to allow maximum flow and drainage, while minimizing potential leak points at fittings.
The lesson: Just because the pipes connect and the sink doesn’t overflow, does not mean it is plumbed correctly.
Anybody can connect some pipes, but an actual plumber knows the correct time and place to use each type of fitting, and why.
A realtor acquaintance called me in a panic Saturday morning, needing several plumbing problems taken care of before Monday when the final inspection is due. The chief concern was this 27 year old leaking water heater.
I assured him we could make it happen, and delivered as promised. New heater, new garbage disposal, and a complete rebuild of the shower valve and tub spout all done on a Sunday with no time to spare.
He’s happy, the new owner will be happy, so I’m happy. Everybody wins!
Realtor friends…feel free to reach out if you’re in a pinch and need help getting a property ready for close. We’re always happy to help as best as we can.
With as many breaks and holes as this apartment building’s old (likely almost 100 years!) cement sewer line had, the tenants might as well have been dumping chamber pots out the back window 🤦🏻♂️
We teamed up with Daniel Hughes and did away with all of that. We installed an all new 4” PVC main, with new laterals, and installed clean outs every 25 feet to help out any brother plumbers who need to visit in the future.
It was messy, but we got ‘er done on schedule, and the camera inspection showed everything flowing to perfection.
A functioning sewer system is one of those things we all take for granted until it doesn’t work. Modern plumbing has contributed almost as much to societal health and well being as modern medicine.
If you didn’t have to p**p in a hole today, thank your favorite plumber! 😝
Pro-tip: That’s not supposed to look like that.
It never ceases to amaze me the shortcuts other “plumbers” take on commercial jobs.
Either do the job right, or don’t do it at all. Half measures result in 4x the headache.
Have you ever seen a holy garbage disposal? Now you have!
Customer accidentally dropped a pour spout down the drain and let ‘er rip! Needless to say, the pour spout won the battle. I was happy to get them fixed up.
Line forms to the left 🤣
Now offering hydrojetting!
The perfect solution for those stubborn drain lines that get repeated clogs, or as preventative maintenance on those “high traffic” waste lines that are prone to build up over time. Give us a call to get scheduled.
Friendly reminder to NEVER dump grease down the drain. You might get away with it for awhile…but eventually you won’t.
Took care of this “leak” at the Walgreen’s in Paris today. Replaced the basket strainer, tailpiece, and p-trap because new parts are always the best option.
Notice the corrosion that caused the strainer to snap off? This is why you should NOT use drain cleaning solvents, despite their claims to be “safe for pipes”
Sure…they may work at dissolving your clog, but what else are they dissolving? Always try to manually remove clogs, or just give us a call and we’ll get you taken care of if you don’t feel comfortable doing it yourself.
Happy Saturday…it’s beautiful out, I hope y’all are enjoying it!
Unpopular opinion: You get what you pay for in most things.
I completely understand trying to save costs where you can, but there WILL be a sacrifice in terms of quality.
If a part from supplier A costs $75, and the “same” part from supplier B costs $40..it’s safe to say the the materials and/or overall quality of the part from supplier B will be inferior.
This means the part will likely need to be replaced again sooner, and may not even function as well from the very beginning. So yes…you will spend less initially, but likely end up spending more in the long run on additional repairs.
Always consider the long term as well as the short term when trying to save cost.
