This week marks five years at our A-frame. Who would've thought working a corporate job after APSU would lead me back to my college “side” hustle?

We've made hundreds of thousands of macarons in more flavors than I can name, and are lucky to say we have a second home at our fave play place !

When you see Thistle Sweets, you see our colorful cookies, but I haven't really shared the family behind our buisness. You and your continuous support/love of what we do, has helped me and my family grow in more ways than I could have imagined possible when we opened.

In 2019 when I start my business, Dan and I were just beginning our lives together, since then we've had our dream wedding (the most perfect party), a full home remodel (thanks ) and two beautiful babies!

Even though the trajectory of TS has wobbled and changed through the years, I'm humbled and grateful to say that we're still doing this thing!!

The shop has been a blessing and dream in so many ways, it's allowed me the freedom to come in when I needed to (whether it was at 2 am or 2pm) to get work done, but then be present with my babies. Work and home life is always a balancing act and these past few years have been tough, not only through the pandemic and whatever this is now, but we've lost three of Daniel's grandparents and Dan's mom Kathy is currently at home on hospice.

They might just seem like 2-inch cookies to a lot of people, but macarons have been my love language, my creative outlet and the tool to the freedom to be who I need to be for my family. I’m trying but the words cannot express how grateful I am for that.

Thank you Clarksville (and our out of state baddies who order online) for the support, encouragement, understanding and most of all grace throughout these last few years. Hopeful for many more no matter what they might look like!
