Clarksville Junior Golf Tour

Event 2 scheduled for 9 & 18 hole divisions on Monday, June 3 at the River Club, 3 & 6 hole divisions on Tuesday, June 4 at the River Club. We are hoping the rain will hold off and let us get this event in. Remember to register for the Hank Miles tournament. The link is in a previous post.

The rally to save Mason Rudolph golf course time has been changed to 5-7. This gives more time to show our support.

While you are planning your summer golf, consider the Hank Miles Clarksville Junior City AM at Swan Lake June 12 & 13, 2024. This is for junior golfers 3, 6, 9 &, 18 hole divisions like CJGT. You must live in Montgomery County to play in this event. It is a 2 day tournament. Here is a link to register. Registration for this event closes Monday, June 10 at 3:30PM.

Due to the amount of rain Clarksville has gotten the past week, and the flooding and tree damage at Swan Lake Golf Course we are cancelling the event for Tuesday, May 28, 2024 because the course is unplayable. Revised tee times for the River Club event will be emailed later this week. Monday, June 3 is 9 & 18 hole divisions and Tuesday, June 4 is 3 & 6 hole divisions.

Clinic information:
CJGT Clinic for Saturday, June 1 is also cancelled due to the River Club having to move the Wendy's tournament to that weekend. We apologize for the schedule changes. It is all due to the recent weather events.

Mason Rudolph Golf Course support event:
As a reminder the Save Mason Rudolph Golf Course event is Friday, May 31 from 6:00-7:00PM at Mason Rudolph Golf Course 1514 Golf Club Lane, Clarksville, Tn 37043. We need a great showing of junior golf families in Clarksville. Bring your players and clubs for a fun time. This is not a CJGT clinic.

CJGT FAQs
Does CJGT provide golf lessons?
CJGT is a competitive golf tour consisting of 4 tournaments. Although we host two clinics for our golfers, the purpose of
CJGT is not to teach or give lessons. For lessons and learning the rules of golf, please visit one of the organizations on our
links page or contact a local golf pro.
What should a golfer have to participate?
Each golfer should have their own golf clubs and golf attire (collared shirt and pants/shorts). Golfers should have experience
playing the number of holes they will be playing in CJGT. Please read through our “Code of Conduct” on the membership
page for detailed information.
When is CJGT registration each year?
Registration typically begins in the beginning of March and continues through mid-May. It will be posted on the website when
the dates have been decided each year.
What ages can participate in CJGT?
In general, golfers must be six years old by the end of May and no older than 19 on the date of the last event. See each
year’s registration form for the exact dates for each year.
Where can I find tee times for each event?
Tee times are posted on the CJGT website by the day prior to the event. You can click on “Tee Times” on the Home page or
go to the individual event page to view them.
Why aren’t tee times/scores posted sooner?
We always post tee times and scores as soon as they are available. Please remember CJGT is possible by the support of
volunteers. There are no paid positions within CJGT. Volunteers are often working around other jobs and/or responsibilities.
How early should I arrive before my tee time?
All golfers should report to the registration table at least 20 minutes before their tee time to check-in. They will receive their
scorecard and may be given special instructions for that day’s event.
When should golfers go to their assigned tee box?
Golfers should be at their assigned tee box 10 minutes prior to their tee time. They should account for traveling to tee boxes
that are not close to the clubhouse.
What if a golfer will miss one of the tournaments?
We understand that summer is a busy time and golfers may not be able to attend every event. Please let a volunteer at the
registration table know if you will not be at a future event.
