We have another fantastic Intern to highlight! Let’s give it up for Taylor Teeters!!

Taylor has interned at Ufford Law and Mediation Offices in Clarksville since August 2023. In her time at the firm, she has completed various tasks, including summarizing documents, fielding telephone calls, and taking notes in consultations. Further, she has filed documents with the court, drawn up motions, answers to motions, and proofread petitions. She has attended numerous docket calls and provided litigation support to Mr. Ufford for final hearings on multiple occasions. Throughout her experience at Ufford Law and Mediation Offices, she has familiarized herself with the format in which legal documents are written and worked diligently to perfect her communication, research, and organization skills. Taylor has thoroughly enjoyed her time at the firm, and this internship has allowed her to gain on-the-job skills. Most importantly, this internship has confirmed that she wishes to work as a paralegal upon graduation.

We encourage all our students to participate in internships and engage in opportunities outside the classroom!

Mr. Ufford is proud of these students and their enthusiasm to learn about the Justice System. It’s an honor to serve as judge in their mock trial event. The Justice System is a crucial part of our society, and this exposure helps grow leaders. That is one of our main goals at Ufford Law & Mediation Offices.

Last week, Mr. Ufford took time to speak to students at Austin Peay State University about the practice of law. Mr. Ufford is always looking for ways to expose aspiring students to the justice system. Knowledge is power, and the justice system is a crucial part of our society. All of us at Ufford Law are excited for the opportunities we have to educate our community.

In Honor of all our Veterans, Ufford Law & Mediation Offices will be closed to business on November 11, 2021. We hope you also take time to use this time to honor all the Veterans that have served our great Country.

We also remind you that the Courts, along with many other public buildings, will be closed today. We will be open again on Friday, November 11, 2021, and will continue our normal hours through next week.
