Friendly, efficient, and organized scheduler / office manager needed for busy internet based cleaning business. This is a remote job so you can work from anywhere in the United States. Knowledge of Southeast Michigan is preferred.

Job Duties Include: Answering client phone calls, giving quotes and scheduling appointments in our online booking software. Responding to emails, client questions and complaints. Managing day to day operations including communicating with cleaners, clients and owner when needed. Charging clients out each day. Ideally you will learn to post jobs, interview, and onboard new cleaners. This job pays a base rate plus commissions on all new bookings you create that are completed. You must be home and available to answer phones and respond to email throughout work hours, however you will not need to be working full time, there will be a lot of downtime! You must be computer literate to apply.

This position pays a guaranteed base salary as well as commission based on new bookings by staff that are completed and charged. Base rate is $200 / week, plus a 2.5% commission on all bookings you create.

To give you a real world example:

Active work hours for scheduler in April totaled 40 hours. 2.5% commission on new bookings equalled $581.83 + $800 base salary. April salary was $1381.83 for 40 hours of work. This averages to an hourly rate of $34.54 / hour.

Summer tends to be very busy and average hours and commissions will likely go up from there.

This position is likely a good fit if you are:

-A stay at home parent with older children that do not require constant attention
-Someone that works another part time remote position that does NOT require phone availability. (i.e writing jobs, email correspondence, design etc.) Please do not apply if you are not readily available to handle phones throughout the day. Open availability Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm is a requirement. You must work from a home office with a computer and high speed internet access. You will receive calls from an app that will download to your smartphone. Please do not apply if you do not have the proper equipment.

This is a 1099 job.
