My Christmas Mini-Sessions WITHOUT Santa are now live for booking! These are thirty minute mini sessions, you are able to see images the same day, and a three image minimum is required to book. You may add more the day of the session, if you wish. This is a fun set up!

Santa Mini-Sessions, November 9, 2024

It is a day for summer basketball! Thanks, as always, to the YMCA for being such a wonderful part of our Johnston County community. It has been my pleasure to work hand in hand with them for a decade.

And while I am announcing things for down the road, for those that like to shop ahead, here are my backdrops for both Santa sessions and my non-Santa Mini Sessions.

Santa will be done on the Christmas Tree background, and the non-Santa minis will be with the candy shop backdrop. Both should be fun this year!

It is time to start thinking about my fall schedule! First up, fall preschool sessions. All of my programs are on my calendar for their chosen dates, and I just ordered a new backdrop set. This year we are going to be thinking "sunflowers!" It is a gorgeous set up with golden feel of fall. This should work well for boys and girls, as well as siblings. I know I have a lot of parents that like to shop ahead (and look for good deals), so here is your heads up: Think sunflowers and golden colors.

I do have space in my schedule for one, maybe two, more programs. If you have a program in mind that needs quality and affordable photos, please let me know. I am happy to reach out to them.

June is almost over! Two weddings in one month, both of them extra special. Thanks for having me as part of your special day today, Kim & David! Congrats on the first day of the rest of your lives together!

Spring has sprung, and it is time for lots of family photos. For now, while I edit their entire session, take a peek at this perfect little cutie!

Parents at Horne Memorial, please remember to get orders in by this coming week. May 3rd is the deadline. Thanks to those who have submitted them already. All digital galleries have been sent, so please check your emails. Print orders have been submitted, so I will return them to the school ASAP.

Centenary Parents, your orders are also due this coming week. Please check your emails to see your online galleries. If you have not gotten your email, please text me to have it resent.

Reminders for parents at the programs I am working with this spring:

Grace Church: Orders will be coming to the program asap!

Clayton Crossings: Orders are due tomorrow, Thursday, April 18th. Please turn them in on time.

Tippett's Church: Orders are due tomorrow, Thursday, April 18th. Please turn them in on time.

Horne UMC: Proofs were dropped off today, so please check your child's backpack and turn in orders as soon as your can. They are due by May 3rd, but I will be making stops by the church at least once a week to pick up orders.

Grace Homeschool: Proofs are being ordered today and will be at the program next week.

Please remember that I am going out of the country on May 17th, so I really need your help to get your orders in on time this year. Thanks!

Tonight I am lucky to photograph some super cute Dads/Grandpas/Stepdads/Brothers and gorgeous Girl Scounts of Johnston County. It is always a fun evening, and I love to see their creativity in outfits.

Tonight was a fun night at the Azalea Garden with this gorgeous senior. The flowers are gorgeous right now, and it was fun to take advantage of the amazing weather.

Clayton Crossing Parents: Proofs are going home this week. Please pay attention to the due date for orders. I know spring break is in the middle of the time frame, but please mark your calendars so that you do not forget! This spring will have a firm deadline for orders, so please, please, please make note of the due dates. You are welcome to go ahead and turn them in this week. I will collect orders from the school at the end of this week and process everything that is turned in at that point.

It was a wonderful three days at Clayton Crossings Preschool. The kiddos were wonderfully cute, sweet and well behaved, and the staff was wonderful (as always) to work with. If my math is correct, this is year fourteen with this program, and I am grateful for each and every one and look forward to many more! It is such a joy to see the sweet kiddos that I am blessed to work with grow up as the years go by.

Three preschools are done, five more to go, plus loads of babies and families and YMCA sports. It is spring time, ya'll!

Preschool parents. . . . friendly reminders for upcoming photos. Please, please, please. . . . remove tattoos off of your kiddos before their photo day. :-)

And, if your kiddo is a taking cap/gown photos, please do not give them a high ponytail or any other hairdo that will make their cap sit really high on their head. :-)

Day three of super sweet and adorable preschoolers this week. I love my job! Thanks to all of the parents for dressing the kiddos sooooo adorably!

This week begins spring madness. :-) It is my own version of March Madness. But, for me, it is many days of super cute preschoolers, late afternoon family sessions in blooming spring colors at local parks, evenings at the YMCA fields with hard working soccer players, and my non-preschool days filled with sweet newborn babies.

It is an insane season, but one in which I LOVE. :-)

Preschool parents, this year I will need your help to follow the deadlines for submitting orders. My sweet husband and I are heading out of the country on May 17th, so I really need you to help me be able to get your photos back to you before I fly away by turning in your order on on time. Don't worry, I will remind you again with the order forms, but this year I don't have any wiggle room for the "I forgots," unfortunately. If they miss deadlines, they may have to wait until I return in June.

Thank you to EVERYONE that came out this weekend. It was great to see familiar faces and new friends. As always, the kids amazing me with how much they have grown! Most of them loved the bunnies, and even if they did not, I used some magic to add some bunnies to their photos. Some friends loved them this year when they really were not bunny fans last year. :-) That will maybe give hope to the parents who those who were not fans this year.

Thank you to Sarah Nackley for always been an amazing assistant. I LITERALLY could not do this without her.

I do ask that you please go ahead and download your gallery in the net two weeks. I will very soon start my spring preschool photos with eight programs this spring, and many of those parents will order digital galleries. I will need to make space for their galleries to be uploaded starting in April.

Thank you again for your continued support of my small business. I have been going strong for sixteen years now, growing each year, changing over time, but loving what I am doing. I have found my niche and love working with my families and loving having my clients become friends. Thank you for being an important part of my life!
