Our group is back from Camp Powhatan. They had a great week! Thank you to Mr. Phil, Mr. Travis, Mr. Sean and Mr. Gabe for leading the group this week and providing some wonderful memories.

These scouts did a great job representing Troop 33 at the Camp Powhatan evening flag ceremony.

Troop 333, our all female troop at Oakland had its 3rd Eagle Scout this week. Amelia passed her Eagle Board of Review Wednesday evening. She had an incredible project that made students and staff happy with spending time in the Quad area at Cleveland Middle School. They can now get outside and safely enjoy time there.
She had a great experience with this project. One wonderful thing about it was members from pack 33, troop 33 and Oakland members came to help! It was a swift but huge project. Amelia showed great leadership with this whole process.

Congratulations to all our Troop 33 Scouts who ranked up and received merit badges at our last Court of Honor before summer break. We look forward to seeing you all throughout the summer during our modified schedule.

Memorial Day is a day of remembrance to honor the brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to their country. It is a time to reflect on the sacrifices of our fallen heroes and to pay tribute to their legacy of courage, dedication, and selflessness.

A few of our Troop 33 scouts attended the 2024 Section E8 Conclave. Over 900 Arrowmen participated in the weekend at Camp Raven K**b. Thank you, Mr. Phil for leading these scouts.

We had a wonderful COH ceremony before taking some time off for Spring Break! Congratulations to those in new positions and for all the rank ups and earned merit badges. We hope everyone is having a wonderful spring break, and look forward to seeing you soon!

All about Flags at our meeting this week.

The flag represents us as a people and as a nation. Working with Scouts and showing respect to a flag, whether it's saying the pledge, presenting a flag at a ceremony or parade, or learning to properly retire an old, tattered flag, is how we help Scouts develop pride in their country.

Scouts have recently learned more about the Patrol Method and practiced their knowledge of patrols and scouts via a Kahoot game.

Despite the rain, Troop 33 scouts enjoyed Camp Tuscarora's Freeze-O-Ree campout. They even had a beautiful rainbow to send them off to camp.

Games Galore. Scouts enjoyed having a board game activity during one of our meetings. Battleship, Connect Four, Chess, and various card games.
