Here’s another Triple Tap. One solid copper and 2 separate alum strand wires under the same screw. This is a fire hazard and should be corrected for safety

Remember to change your air filters and have your HVAC system serviced regularly to keep it clean so it can work efficiently. The air handler in the bottom picture is working extra hard trying to pull air in, and it will fail.

Oh I am pretty sure this downspout is not going to be able to perform it’s job. Don’t forget about all the small things with owning a house. Inspections are not just for houses you are looking to purchase. This Four Point Inspection discovered a couple Double Tap breakers. The red outline is showing 2 scorching wires under one screw. The homeowner had no idea a fire hazard was being created right under their noses. Going undetected longer, could have literally lead to sparks and a fire. Why would someone think this quality of trim is acceptable. If you don’t know how to lay basic quarter round, then don’t! You just make it worse

It’s important to do regular visual inspections on the systems within your home to make sure everything is performing as intended. For instance, this AC unit is not level which can effect the efficiency of the system. If your exterior units look unleveled, I would recommend calling an HVAC technician to come out and correct it.

Enjoying a peaceful time on the roof of a high rise. Needed to inspect the roof and AC units. The beautiful view passed as well.

I suspected the home was using Polybutylene piping, which was discontinued in the mid 90’s because of the material deteriorating and causing leaks that were damaging to the property. Inorder to find the stamp on the pipe we had to get down and dirty by crawling under the dwelling. But we found it!!
And it really is a good feeling when you do a great job for your clients since they are putting all their trust in you before moving forward with the deal.

Everybody listen please. With this hurricane bringing as much rain as it is. Gutters and downspouts are often overlooked when preparing your house for the storm. It is very important that they are clean of all debris and that the downspouts have extensions to terminate the water as far away from the structure as possible

I can not stress to people enough. You need to have regular maintenance checkups performed on your HVAC system. Dirty systems, old ducts, leaky ducts all cut down on your systems efficiency. When systems have to work harder they will quit sooner and cost more along the way in energy bills.
