Yesterday we had the sad privilege to bury an unclaimed Veteran. We can always count on our associates at Bay Pines and Florida National Cemeteries, our Combat Veterans Riders and several Honor Guards to help. So he actually had family present, his “military family.” Eric Cahill, a manager on our team and an Army vet, takes this very personally. 🇺🇸

Our Story
The motto at Veterans Funeral Care speaks volumes about the quality of services offered to families: “We Are Here To Serve You Just As You Served Our Country.” This funeral home has a long history of supporting the local community with full-service funeral solutions. Since 2000, the team has been providing families with personalized funeral planning. Each event is uniquely designed to match customs and traditions.
While Veterans Funeral Care is proud to offer end-of-life services for veterans and military members, these quality services are also offered for any family in need of care. The team serves both veterans AND non-veterans. The certified facilities have direct ties with the Armed Forces, giving families a simple solution to make a final tribute to their soldiers. One detail that makes this funeral home stand out in the local industry is that they promote the use of Veterans Cemeteries. Available services include all the essentials for a beautiful event: funeral services, memorial ceremonies, life celebrations, cremation services, burials, and more.
In addition to event planning, the team can also assist with administrative details and transportation. For example, they are experienced with ship-ins and ship-out services. The on-site crematory ensures the highest levels of care when a family selects cremation instead of burial.
Veterans Funeral Care is locally owned and Christian operated. The team serves all of the local cities, including Clearwater, Largo, Palm Harbor, Dunedin, St. Petersburg, and more. Additionally, 162 providers are spread throughout the United States, offering services in 34 states. The first funeral home location was started in Clearwater, Florida. They are the first full-service funeral home built around the military and veteran community.
