👏 The awesome team at Friends Baptist Church (where our school meets) are living up to their name. They treated our students today to a surprise of cotton candy and snow cones during lunch! As you can see, the kids loved it, and the folks at Friends Baptist love them well!

🎉 Attention High School Parents!  We are on track to offer the following classes a la carte in accordance with interest from you!  This would be an excellent alternative to enrolling your student in a local community college.  If interested, please email Lora Geer at [email protected] to learn more about our a la carte classes!

We are offering High School a la carte courses on a limited basis for 2023-2024. We will be offering AP Language and Composition and POTENTIALLY dual enrollment Anatomy and Physiology (for college credit.) If either of these options are of interest to you and your family, please let us know by filling out this short online survey so we may gauge interest and offer you the best options. Thank you!

A La Carte Classes -- Interest Form Depending on interest, Cathedral Oak Acadademy may offer open a few of our upper level classes to the homeschooling community. Space in each class will be very limited, and certain conditions will apply.

One of the great things about our small class sizes is the ability to hold classes outside occasionally. Our upper school art students are loving this early spring weather and the ability to have class in the sunshine!

Two of our COA staff, Lora Geer and Josh Moormann are speaking on Sunday, 2/26 at Awake Church about parenting and technology. This is a free event open to our community but sign ups are required, so please sign up and learn more about this event at the link provided below! We invite you to join this timely event.

✨ Please join us on Sunday, February 26th for our next parenting class on the topic of technology in our kids lives, led by special guests, Lora Geer and Josh Moormann.

✨ Lora will share on the effects of technology on our brains and habits and give ideas of how she has guided her children into healthy practices. Josh will draw on his 22+ years in the global telecommunications industry to provide practical guidance and examples that families within our community can implement quickly. More information about this event, and Lora and Josh can be found on the sign-up page shared below.

✨ This class will begin at 2:30pm and childcare will be provided for Awake members. Space will be limited, so please sign up for both the class and childcare in advance. You can sign up at the Welcome Center or online at awakechurch.com/parenting-class
