For those who are doing Pauly's Pickems college football draft on Fantrax, it starts in 50+ minutes!

For those who are playing Brad Betts's NCAA Fantasy, here is the draft order.

With fantasy football starting soon, I decided to follow a trend this year with the following names for the leagues I'm in:

Ladies and gentlemen, the 3rd annual NFL portion of Pauly's Pickems is upon us! Season starts on September 7, so I'm getting the picks out early to get more eyes on the post. Remember, the week starts on Thursday and ends on Monday. Not a whole lot of time in between like there is for college. Picks lock in at 8pm on September 7!

More annoying/infuriating for fantasy football:

You're up 40 headed into the MNF game and end up losing by 10 OR your opponent having 4 people scoring 0 points and you only beat them by 2.7 points?

Myself and 2 other guys have a bet going on here at work regarding the NFL. Who is a dark horse playoff team this year, and who won't even sniff the playoffs after making it last year.

I doubt many on this page care for the CFL, but I'll do some Pickems next year.

I can't claim to love football if I only watch September - February. I'm going to do more XFL, USFL, and CFL in the future.

Kinda sad this will be the last year of possibly hearing this theme on Saturday afternoons.

Good morning everyone! We are about two months away from college football. I’m planning on having a college football fantasy league through fantrax. I’m looking for a minimum of 10 people to play no more than 16. College football fantasy is very similar to NFL football fantasy for those that have played. If you have not ever played let me explain how it works. First there will be a draft. The draft order is determined by the computer. It will be a snake draft. As in if you are the last person to pick in the first round you will be the first person to pick in the second round and so on. Typically there is one or two starting QB’s, two RB’s, 3 WR’s, TE, Flex(choice between RB, WR or TE), Kicker and a defense. Then you have your bench players in case you need to switch someone out before the game starts. Scoring is based on how your player performs in their game. RB’s get points by yards gained and by touchdowns. Receivers get points by yards gained after catch or by touchdowns. Same for tight ends. QB’s get points for yards gained on the ground, in the air and touchdowns or two point conversions. Kickers get points by field goals or extra points. Defense gets points by turnovers, safeties or touchdowns and sacks. One advantage of college football fantasy is that you have more options on the waiver wire to add and drop players when needed. And it will definitely give you insight on how a player is performing that we might not see just from watching a game. I hope this has been helpful. If you are interested let me know. So it's Arlington and DC in the championship game. Regardless on which team wins the O/U stays the same.

Well with Arlington winning, it put a cramp on everyone's picks. Although Wil, David, Ryan and myself have the highest weekly score, I'll be using a stipulation from the site boxes.xfl.com.

Since Arlington won't be playing Washington DC until the 13th, we have some time. The championship game will be worth 100 points and the R/R or O/U will be worth 50 points!

I checked the XFL Pickems website today and I didn't see any O/U possibilities, so Wil Proctor chose the R/R. Remember these games are worth 50 points and the R/R is 25. Good luck!

I know we're not doing a USFL Pickem, but....the Pittsburgh Maulers looked BAD.

(To be fair, my homer state team the Showboats didn't look good either)
