I appreciate Joan everyday, but let’s give a special thanks to Joan Rossini for her 7th year as director!! She has dedicated the last seven years to our growing the art community in our area, and it shows! Through countless events, emails, and meetings she has transformed our art center into a true creative force! It is an honor to be able to be mentored by her and I look forward to the next 7 years!
Glassblowing is back! The glass blowers, from Hot Glass Academy in GA, will be in residence not for one, but two weeks here at TAC.
Come take a workshop and create your own glass pumpkin the first week and then create a round holiday ornament the second week!
Workshops are two hours and $90.00 per person!

🦁 CAAAM Director Angela Agard previewed the upcoming Sincerely, Daniel exhibit
🌅 Clemson Area Chamber of Commerce representatives Bryan, Anne, and Natalia talk about the visitors center and what to do in Clemson
🏞️ Parks and Recreation director Jay Bennett talked about parks, programs, and athletics
🌿 Dr. Hamilton from the SC Botanical Gardens discussed the diversity of plants and ecosystems in the gardens.
🍳Local businesses Tigertown Tavern and Sunnyside Cafe were highlighted in their own segments
👩👧 Local non-profits Clemson Child Development Center, the Collins Home Family Ministries, and the Parenting Place discussed their missions
🚨 First Responder Friday highlighted CUPD, CUFD, and CPD, including our very own Chief Campos

Pop In the Park craft market is today from 10 am - 2 pm at Clemskn’s Gateway Park, 348 Old Greenville Highway. 14 vendors with unique items. Darwin the dog is here today and he would like to make some new friends! Bring your dog for a walk and walk away with some hand crafted items! If you’re itching to get in the studio for some late summer creating- is teaching a painting class on color mixing 🎨👩🎨 This is our only adult class for the month of August; fall programs start in September 🥳
Just like that, summer art camp is over 🥲 We will be offering four youth art classes in August! Class offerings are for ages 5-12, registration is live now 👩🎨
This is the last week of Summer Arts Camp. Tomorrow is the Youth Exhibition from 12 pm - 2 pm. Come for the art, stay for the cupcakes. Today I want to share photos from Summerween and surprising Tinkerbell, AKA Emily, with some fun things. We wanted to let her know how loved and appreciated she is as Camp Director! Week 5 creativity was off the charts! Next week is the last week of arts camp, but we will have youth art classes beginning in August! Registration opens July 20th!
This Saturday! Come support 14 small creative businesses, listen to the sounds of Christy Williamson while eating hot dogs purchased from the Dease Dogs!
Week Four passed us by super fast! We take a camp break next week. We will be closed July 4th and 5th! Have a safe and Happy Fourth of July! We will see you for week five of camp beginning July 8th!
We are officially half way into Summer Arts Camp. Three more weeks to go! It goes by so fast! Our campers were busy this week! Have a great weekend!
