This community has been amazing in response to our post about the amount of food we are distributing daily. We have had many questions about what is needed and when so we have created an Amazon wish list to make donating easier. Item quantities can be altered on individual orders once added to the cart. If you try it and have any problems with the process or link, please let us know. Thanks to everyone who read, responded, or donated this week- we are grateful!

It’s summer! Our shelves are already getting empty with children at home and slower donations in this season. Yesterday alone, 3066 pounds of food (valued at $1.193 per pound) was distributed out of the CCC pantry. This was an expense of $5917 for one day. This amount was exclusive of utility and rental assistance provided yesterday.

Please join us at KW Clemson to help our community on a weekly basis by having a Food Drive to donate each week to Clemson Community Care’s food pantry. Drop off any canned goods, boxed food, toiletries, baby diapers/wipes, and pet food to our Patrick Square office on Farmer’s Market Thursdays. We are honored to live in area that is always supporting and helping others during difficult times. Give where you Live!

It was CCC’s joy today to be invited to worship and share our work with the congregation of University Lutheran Church- a congregation which faithfully supports CCC. We then were able to spend our afternoon with the youth from Holy Trinity Episcopal Church-another group faithful to us. Thank you to both of these congregations for the many things you do to support our work.
