Enterprise Budgets and Profitability Workshop

Cost: $35

Learn how to calculate your cost of production so you can price for a profit! Explore the concept of an enterprise budget including how they use costs, sales, and labor data to determine the profitability of your market channels. Learn how to use the Veggie and Livestock Compass Tools to predict the financial impact of different farm scenarios for the future and to assess your farm’s financial progress over time to locate efficiencies, set prices based on actual costs of production, and increase farm profits.

REGISTRATION NOW OPEN FOR CPFM COURSES
The South Carolina Forestry Commission will be conducting four Certified Prescribed Fire Manager classes around the state in 2024-25.

The course will be offered on the following dates:
November 20, 2024 | Columbia, SC
December 4, 2024 | Florence, SC
January 22, 2025 | Walterboro, SC
February 12, 2025 | Columbia, SC

The one-day course teaches managers how to plan prescribed burns that comply with South Carolina Smoke Management Guidelines. These regulations are mandatory for all forestry, wildlife and agricultural burning in South Carolina.
