CATbus has received a Low/No Emission Grant from the Federal Transit Administration. This $4.67 million grant will fund 3 compressed natural gas buses as well as the infrastructure to support them. These buses will then replace 3 diesel buses.

Fun Fact: CATbus is the only organization in SC to receive this grant this year.

Training has begun with operators and supervisors on our new battery electric New Flyer buses. It won’t be long and they’ll be ready to be on the road and placed into service.

DUE TO THE SENECA CHARGER ISSUE, THERE WILL BE NO BUSINESS ROUTE. THE EXPRESS ROUTE WILL PICK UP SENECA WALMART AND RESIDENTIAL WILL PICK UP GAIL COURT. EXPRESS AND RESIDENTIAL WILL NOT BE ON NORMAL SCHEDULE. ALSO, WHEN THOSE BUSES HAVE TO CHARGE THERE WILL BE NO SERVICE FOR A COUPLE HOURS. PLEASE USE THE WEBSITE AND APP TO LOCATE BUSES. For those who are needing to catch the Seneca-Business bus . City of Clemson Clemson University Parking and Transportation Services

Due to the excess amount of traffic for the Clemson Men’s Basketball game , the red route will not be going into Downtown Clemson until further notice . We apologize for the inconvenience . You can pick up red-central at the Verizon Wireless and the red-Clemson at Newman Rd . City of Clemson Clemson University Parking and Transportation Services

Due to paving going on in Clemson Village the buses will not be able to enter. The pick up and drop off will be at Clemson st and Colhun st.

Due to waterline maintenance taking place tomorrow (12/19) the red route will NOT be going down Cochran Rd. or Lindsay Rd . To catch the red-route you will need to catch the bus at the AGR house or the Church of God stop . We plan to go back to regular route Wednesday, 12/20 . A change to the GOLD route deviation …
Buses will go down Perimeter then left on Cherry Road continuing to Hwy 93 to resume normal route.

Due to the Clemson Ciry Parade tonight:

The Seneca Express bus will go from Hwy 76 to Perimeter Road and then turn left onto Hwy 93 at the Esso Club to continue the route to Seneca. Seneca Express and Pendleton buses will connect at Newman and Perimeter Roads.

The Pendleton bus will turn Right on Newman Road, Right on Hwy 93, Right on Hwy 76, Right on Perimeter and then Left on Old Stadium Road.
