We would like to thank everyone and our partners the City of Clermont for participation, support, and showing up. YOU made the difference!

🥎 ESSASY CONTEST!!!!!!! Your Child could WIN!!!

Good Afternoon All,
As we prepare to celebrate Juneteenth this year, I'm excited to share with you an opportunity for our youth to express themselves through art and writing. We're hosting an Arts & Essay contest centered around Juneteenth, where students can creatively explore its history and relevance to their lives today.

The contest is open to elementary (K-5), middle (6-8), and high school students (9-12), with prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in both the Art and Essay categories. The winning essay will be read aloud at our Juneteenth event, while the artwork will be displayed for all attendees to admire. The deadline for the contest is 3PM, Friday, May 31st.

Encouraging our youth to participate not only fosters their creativity but also helps them connect with the significance of Juneteenth. Please share this opportunity with your congregation and any other organization youth can participate, \
and let's inspire young minds to celebrate and reflect on this important part of Juneteenth history.

Attached are the instructions and flyer for the contest. For any inquiries, feel free to reach out to me or the City of Clermont. Thank you for your support in empowering our youth through expression and education.

Warm regards,
Sharon Keys
